I have not terrible hardware. It’s definitely above the minimum requirements. But every time I click play from steam, the black loading screen appears with the spinning wheel. The cursor even changes too. This stays around for about 30 seconds to a minute and a half. After that it closes itself with no crash support 100% of the time without fail. Anyone else unable to get in?
I have that issue as well, still haven’t found a way around it. So this weekend is a bust!
There is no multiplayer yet. 10am to 2pm PT and then 5pm to 9pm PT. There is no multiplayer outwith these times this weekend.
I can’t even launch the game. I hit play on steam, the game acts like it’s launching, then 2 seconds later, it goes back to hit play… I was so excited to try Halo for the first time…

Wasn’t it supposed to start with just training and bot matches though? And enable multiplayer later?

I haven’t had that issue yet. Last night I was able to hop on and play some training and weapon drills. However I did just hop on, and it’s telling me I’m not authorized for the flight, which is slightly annoying. I just deleted and reinstalling it.
I’m in the same boat, 2-3 seconds of loading then back to desktop. I had installed windows updates and restarted, I made it a little further but then it still crashed. Haven’t seen a menu yet or anything.

A new update for the Xbox under Settings > System > Updates just came up, which may be worth a look for you too. Going to run the update now and see if it helps.
