Yeah it doens’t seem to make much sense to have a global 10% reduction on melee dmg if the purpose was to nerf the managler…

I actually forgot this was happening in Season 2, this could potentially make me really not enjoy the game anymore if it sticks, especially if the change functions the way I think it is going to. Maybe this is the decision that kills the game if not swiftly corrected.
It’s killed it for me. It’s not fun. I honestly feel like they don’t play test any of the changes that they try to implement at this point because melee feels way worse now. All they had to do was put the mangler on a different weapon rack so it spawned less often but instead they chose to broke the gameplay. It’s the one aspect of Halo infinite multiplayer that was actually quite good and just needed a little love like fixing desync. Instead they messed up the gameplay and killed the fun. Something needs to change at 343 because this team does not know what they’re doing. It’s very frustrating and sad to write that but there’s no way Halo should be treated like this. I really hope Microsoft is paying attention.
