I’m not actually all the impressed with the multiplayer. It seems to me that they were too liberal with what is considered a “headshot”. And they wanted to get back to " arena" style gameplay so I assume that means spawning into someone already shooting you in the face. No? Well that’s what it’s doing. I like Warzone mode but its really just a fragfest lol. Maybe I just need to get used to it. Anyone else agree with any of the stuff I said?

I have been feeling the same way and honestly I have no real urge to keep playing, I made a post about this sometime yesterday that I wasn’t sure exactly how or why I am not having fun but it has slowly revealed to me that I just don’t enjoy Halo 5 multiplayer that much.
Warzone is the casual “let loose and kill stuff” mode. It’s so much fun!
WarZone is the most fun I’ve had on Halo in years, I think it’s an excellent addition. Feels like Planetside2 with better shooting mechanics.

You’re in the minority. You two should stick to MCC.
Warzone is different, almost a little MOBA feeling, which I’m okay with, but I just have to acclimate to it. Still not sure how Requisition points work, so I should probably read the copious info about that.
Warzone I find is fun, each map feels different (but there does need to be more maps).
Arena on the other hand, all the maps feel kinda the same and boring.

tried out swat last night, it was loads of fun. reminded me of Reach. I didn’t have a problem with spawning on the map rig i believe… the one with the big hole in the middle.

I know im in the minority I don’t want to hate on Halo 5 I just don’t find it fun I played 20 matches or various gamemodes and the whole campaign and I just ain’t getting anything from it.

Ah. Spawn killing happens regardless of any precautions placed on maps for Arena’s purposes so the honest question is, through the theatre mode:
- How many times are you actually being spawn killed?
- Is it because the opponent is moving fluidly around the map or can you see yourself actually just randomly spawning in front of them?

last night I spawn in the same spot 3 times in a row in swat with the same guy looking straight at me XD
You can show us the video by replaying it in Theatre and recording it, non?
Now the issue on that… Was it an accidentally or purposely created Spawn Trap if so?
As I say, one cannot get rid of such things but spawns can be manipulated to lessen or remove some Spawn Traps.
I’m loving warzone and I hope it will be expanded upon there is a lot of scope.
I’m not purest so will play less arena but still enjoy it regardless.

I keep laughing at the ‘pure skill 4v4 arena combat’ line. What skill? A game of who sees who first with the useless radar? AR/pistol starts?
Halo 4 legendary BR slayer is pure skill arena. It’s the best Halo multiplayer to date.
I can both agree and disagree with you OP. I was kinda feeling that way at the begining but that was because I was use to the slower style of halo minus 4 which due to MCC I haven’t played much. This being said one I got use to everything I found myself having a great time in halo which though I love every halo game I havent really had since reach.
YOu can report spawning problems to 343 and through updates they will fix them
I can remember even back during the Beta and the Head shot zones seemed a bit much. It was to a point that the zone had been expanded to a degree that the shooter could clearly miss a target and still get credited with a head shot. I have not played yet, but am hoping it is at least better than it was during Beta.
I am really excited for Warzone mode though!!
