It was such a grind. Wasn’t even all that fun because of the difficulty.
You’d imagine that with Revive this Campaign should be much easier, but the AI never seem to do what you want them to (especially when you give them a command) and end up either not prioritizing reviving you (which kills the entire team) or prioritizing your revival when a bunch of enemies are shooting at them. The best thing to do is keep the AIs close and stay as far away from enemies as possible.
You get the benefit of knowing you did it.
Also an achievement with a pretty cool achievement art attached.
Isn’t the achievement 300 GS? That’s pretty good. I can’t beat the dam warden bosses personally…

That’s exactly what’s stopping me from completing this! I can’t even beat the first warden it’s just so hard to complete…

Yea I must of died 100 times and can’t get him. Have just skipped him for now.

There is a reward… It’s called an achievement and gamer score and self satisfaction… That used to be enough in gaming… heck there was a time in gaming when all you got for beating a game is you get to see the credits. The new generation of gamers are so “reward me” heavy… must be that every one get a trophy thing.

It was good enough when Halo didn’t force you to unlock everything with in-game currency.
Well, now every part of the game needs to provide this currency or said part of the game is a waste of time.

The first Warden was the most difficult in my opinion… I don’t know if it’s the map design or all the support he gets, or it being the first time you meet him…
Anyway, there is a place on the very top in the corners, where it dips down, you can crouch there , wait, and let your teammates revive. Warden cannot get to you there, and the only threats are occasional soldiers who find you, you can either shotgun them to death or if you don’t have a shotgun run around the outside of the map and back to the opposite side corner. It’s a bit of a grind but it’s a legitamate strategy, it’s how I was successful,

Yeah it’s lame that they put every thing in the req system but you still do get something for beating the game.
The wardens were easier to beat on solo legendary. Than heroic co-op for me personally.

Interesting. The last stime I remember, a lot of classic games actually rewarded people with in game stuff for completing it on a very difficult level.

This was by far the hardest solo campaign since Halo Anniversary Edition on Legendary. and it was simply because of the squad based thing half the time I had to retry due to zero support.
