I got both emails, ive downloaded and opened halo perfectly but its telling me “your account is not authorised to play halo infinite” any fixes?
Well… you atleast can download the game… im waiting aproval on Xbox Series X… but in my profile i can see " July Tech Preview Xbox Active"
For me the insider apps stays on “Pending” with a loading symbol for half an hour now.
Wish I was opted in for PC though as I don’t have Xbox live Gold anymore, so I won’t be much help either way 
Now I’m able to get ingame but also get the: “your account is not authorised to play halo infinite” message right at the start

I also am having this issue. I suppose it’s an error, and we have to wait for someone to fix it.
Restart the game, I’ve also encountered this error, and this fixed it for me. Servers getting hammered, I guess.
I had to restart it about 4 times but kept trying and I’m in!
