I cannot play Halo odst co-op with my friends

I have a problem when I play co-op
with my friends on halo odst
when I launch a campaign mission in co-op
there is a black screen and connection in progress then return to the menu

Please!!! help me

There could mean that all your friends dont have the game campaign downloaded and I think multiplayer needs to be downloaded too.
