I think I’m not alone when it comes to the growing frustrations with this game. From desync to inconsistent collision detection to multiple crashes in ranked arena barring me for 30 minutes to matchmaking placing me at regions across oceans (I’m US based), these issues have actually been well documented through Halo Infinite forums, and at this point, it’s almost frustrating knowing that I can’t even trust my own hit markers due to how bad 343 Industries has optimized this game. This game is really fun, but these issues make the gameplay moot at this point. Please fix your game or at this point, I would just encourage others to play Valorant, though a more boring game imo, at least the game isn’t broken to the point where hitmarkers have to be doubted and crashes aren’t prevalent. Even Siege has less issues than Halo Infinite at this point, and that’s saying something since Siege is probably one of the most buggy mainstream FPS titles out there still due to pushing physics on an aged game engine.
Almost everyone on my friends list has stopped playing, and I hardly find anybody to play with anymore, but that’s fine, because I only do the events now anyway. It only takes me several hours on my day off to crank out the whole weekly, so I don’t have to play the rest of the week or other weeks until the next fracture or event.
The only reason I bother collecting cosmetics is because even though I have zero faith 343 will ever actually fix the game to be like older Halo titles, I will live with FOMO if by some insane miracle they do make all armors into one core, and all coatings work across all armors, weapons, and vehicles.
I just don’t see that actually happening
IMO siege is the best shooter on the market
