So I just bought the game (On PC) and had really been looking forward to it… I open up the campaign and everything is running well. The opening cutscene is great, Serena is doing her speech, but the Captain Cutter walks into the lab and starts talking to Anders. I can’t hear a thing of it, though I still hear the gadgets and music. Then the lieutenant comes in on the radio saying they have a UNSC signal, and I can hear him fine. But once its back to Cutter and Anders, nope. Same for the loading screen where the characters are talking about the mission. Once the mission starts, I can’t hear Red Team talking. But I can hear the Pelican Pilot reporting in, and I can hear the marines saying they have charges to blow up the rubble in the path. Looking back, I realize I couldn’t hear the drill sergeant in the tutorial ( I assume he was talking too), but I could hear the marines’ ambient dialogue. Its very strange and frustrating, but it seems that I can’t hear the main characters, only the generic marines, pilots, etc. What on Earth could be causing that? And why does it only affect certain characters? I already did everything obvious to make sure the audio settings are right, and the volume on my PC is up. Any solutions, or even reasons why this is happening?

> Had you checked your audio and video settings, and made sure is matching whatever your speakers can produce? Especially if on Xbox One, if for instance the TV can only produce stereo, than set it to enchanced stereo if not automatically settled to it. Same tip goes regarding your HDMI cables too!
Thanks for replying, but I’m on PC not Xbox, and its only the dialogue (And only of certain characters) that I can’t hear.
