I put my orders down day one in the biggest retailer in the biggest shopping complex in the biggest city in my state. You’d think it would be a sure thing right? I called them up today because I hadn’t heard anything about a midnight launch, they said they weren’t having one. WHAT!!?
I couldn’t wait until 9am November 6th, so I cancelled one and pre-ordered another copy from a rival shop in the same mall.
I can split screen for a night and collect my LE goodies in the morning but I was not going to wait an extra 9 hours to get my hands on a game I feel like I’ve been waiting forever on.
TL;DR
1st world problems, getting my hands on H4 midnight November 6th.
Side note: I am -Yoinking!- pumped for this upcomming game! Thank you 343

I’m not walking through my town at midnight with a copy of Halo 4 LE… asking to be mugged. Quite happy to wait for it to arrive at my front door in the morning.
> I originally preordered from Gamestop over Best Buy for the exact same reason. Gamestop guarantees a midnight launch for games this big.
Its dedicated game stores from this day forward for me. Couldn’t believe this place.
They did a midnight launch for ODST and Reach, but not Halo 4… madness!
I’d love to pre-order with a midnight guarantee, I got a tad bit flustered today until I sorted that launch mess out.
Well obviously its excessive but three stores (Mighty Ape, EB Games Australia(Gamestop) and JB Hi Fi(Bestbuy)) sent messages confirming shipping today and one of those waqs from a warehouse in my country 8 hours away. If I have to wait till the week after I’ll chew my arm off if I have to but I’m getting em. Lol, which one gets here first and wondering whether any of them arrive on or b4 release date…

I know what you mean. I didn’t attend the Battlefield 3 midnight launch. That was the longest day of work ever.

Each to their own. On the plus side you’ll wake up with a big massive smile on your dial.

I’m familiar with really long days like that waiting for preorders and they hurt soooo much. Sooo boring waiting for the clock to hit 5pm.
