I’ve never understood why some developers make the majority of their achievements end in a 5 or a 0, but then have some oddly specific number for two of the others. And this isn’t the first time I’ve seen it, either! I realize it’s just a number, and it really isn’t a big deal, but I still get quite annoyed with it!
IHave been doing and I know to some people it doesnt mean that much but when you have over 100,000 gamerscore and you have put alot of effort into it, it is a big deal to me.
And I have been using ammo and i have mainly been playing Pitfall as most of the other maps on disc don’t even have Rocket spawns.
They did this in reach to me. There was an easy achievement called you ate all the chips and then a fiendish one called you blew it up. I got the 42G from the first one but never got the other 13. I want to get hat trick in this game to even it out.

If this get’s on your nerves, never, and I mean never pick up Marathon Durandal for XBLA

Alot of people suffer with NUMBER OCD. They can’t stand an odd number, and it’s weird… But common!

You miss my point entirely. Someone complaining about their achievement number being uneven saying 343 ruined them is hilarious. Like I said achievements don’t mean a thing especially is someone is getting rustled by a number on a gamercard no one cares to look at has an uneven number. Also, don’t bring Halo 3 into this conversation, I won’t take the bait to start some argument because I know thats what you’re hoping for =)

No, I’m not looking for an argument, you said achievements don’t matter, I brought up some people like them, yes I agree making a big deal about the numbers is weird, but some people like achievements and I used an example of something people may care about

I hate uneven numbers too. However, it’s only OCD if the person is unable to function like a normal person in society (can’t hold a steady job, maintain relationships with others, etc.) due to his obsessive-compulsive behavior, much like Adrian Monk in the TV show Monk. Anything else is just obsessive-compulsive behavior and not necessarily a disorder.
For example, I am very OC about people misusing the term OCD.
