I finally got the Recon helmet, but it’s only a Common REQ. 343i needs to make the Recon set Ultra Rare.
I’m sure that there is an ultra rare version that you can sport eventually.

It already had its moment in Halo 3. Each game should have its own unique sought-after helmet/armor. Halo 3 had Recon, Reach had that Haunted helmet, Halo 4 had FOTUS, Halo 5 has Helioskrill, and Combat Evolved had the Mark V (lol).

You kidding? That was Legendary or even Mythic status before the Vidmaster Challenges were available!
Recon hype died like 6 years ago, and it only had hype in the first place because it was an entire armor set (out of only a handful to begin with) that was locked out of player use.
It stopped being special with Halo: Reach, where it was just a standard armor set.
