Ok, I am a fan of auto slayer, but I do see a lot of people advocating for BR starts. Why can’t we have a system like MCC were we the option for auto, precision, or even both? I thought that was such a good system for Halo and I have no Idea why they would not use it again.

They have plans for multiple slayer gametypes.
They released this basic slayer variant earlier than they wanted to due to player pressure.
We also heard a lot of feedback around a desire for a pure Slayer playlist – something that was always coming but was originally a bit further out as more time was needed to test and finalize new game mode variants. Slayer fans should expect this playlist to expand with new experiences in the months to come.

You’re not being creative enough. I have advocated for more slayer variants in MM since 2004. They did bring some new ones at one point to a degree, but they always put them in their own playlist, ie Snipers and Swords variants. And, that’s really where they stop.
But either way, you will get someone complaining about something no matter what you change.
I’d like to see no start grenades. Where grenades can only be picked up on the map.
