I am having trouble uploading images and small videos (clips) to my posts and comments here on these forums of Halo Waypoint. Uploading photos and videos(clips) doesn’t go against community guidelines. I believe the function is broken.
Is this problem happening to you too?
If not are you able to add it as an edit? Are you even able to edit your own posts?
You don’t have image posting rights. That hasn’t changed with the site overhaul. You should be able to edit your own posts. Click the three dots and the pencil.
I haven’t been able to edit some of my posts after a monitor like your self made it uneditable.
What are too talking about I don’t have the “right” to post photos or videos? Is it unlockable? How do I unlock it? I didn’t read anything that stated that I couldn’t when I started using this forum.
It’s not actually a “right”, the correct term is privileged or permission.
The error message that I received is “Sorry, you can’t embed media in a post.”
Most users do not have image rights. Moderators, 343 etc do.
If we’ve edited something or locked it you wouldn’t be allowed to edit it anyway. That would be against the rules.
So, I am being discriminated against because others users, who don’t work for 343, Halo and its subsidies, and Microsoft and it’s subsidies of this forum have the feature “unlocked”.
Why I am I being treated like a criminal? I don’t know.

You are a normal user and have the same permissions as any other normal user. That isn’t discrimation. Either way your questions have been answered and this doesn’t really seem to be going anywhere useful
