I believe my code was sent to a deleted email

Hello, Like many, many others I am waiting for my specializations alpha unlock code from xbox. Everyone I know has already gotten them long ago from the “free Gift” Xbox email.

Now, my issue is, I have seen a few cases of people who say they have recently changed their linked Xbox email address and they found their code on their OLD email account anyways.

This would be fine and dandy for me aswell, however The email my Gamertag used to be linked to no longer exists. and niether my primary or secondary linked emails have been sent the code. I’m worried that the code was sent to the old address only to be claimed by the internet.

So 343i My sincere request is for another code sent to the email linked to my halo waypoint / xbox account. I know many community members are in a brawl about this subject but I am not one of them. I understand how much of a huge task this is and am just happy you decided to send code to everyone who played before the 20th rather than to just the limited editon players.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, they warned about this from the beginning in the original promotion email:

I understand that statement, and it is very much a part of my concern, since before november 20th this deleted email address has been removed and replaced from my gamertag. however my linked email has not gotten a code, nor has the secondary email address.

I see others on these forums claiming their old emails got codes and Im afraid the same happened here.

But the quote you providided SHOULD NOT apply to my because the email I’m afraid the code was sent to is NOT associated with my Xbox LIVE account any longer. nor was it when these codes were conceived or sent. so either by 343i’s/Microsofts fualt they were sent to a non associated email address or straight up not sent.

That sucks… I also think this has happened to me, but I had another Gamertag that i played Halo with before the 20th. I just took the code from that account and put it on this one. I hope i can find the code sent for this gamertag to help someone that this happened to. I won’t be an -Yoink- and put it on my other gamertag. Give me a day or two to try and find it, and i’ll post back here. I hope that they just realize how much of a bad idea this was tho and just release them for everyone.

Thanks for the input. If you find your extra code I would be more than greatful. In the meantime I leave this thread to hopefully find it way to 343i’s scope.
