I approve of Most of the New changes.

I would like to start by saying I hate call of duty. Even though I hate it I recognize a more evolved play style. Call of duty has brought serious change to shooters ever since COD 4. Perks are a way to make multiplayer more engaging and strategic. There are some that have been over powered but the perk system has something halo multiplayer doesn’t. It has depth. There are plenty of strategies to halo. I am not arguing this. Lines of sight, weapon control and map control are crucial. In Call of Duty, players have to consider these things but they create a play style that will give them a edge.

Call of duty has strengths as well as flaws. There are some perks that have overwhelming benefits. Perks like stopping power and juggernaught can be deadly. These perks cause a player to run out on the front lines while other players choose different approaches. Snipers will choose perks to make them more accurate. Run and gunners will choose paths that make them faster are more illusive. When you look at all the of these chooses and then you look at Halo and it limitations it is clear that Call of duty is more attractive and more strategic. You can point out how your team got the upper hand by creating brilliant strategies but It isn’t nearly as varied.

This is what Call of duty is bad at. Kill streaks that award the player with A.I support. This is disgusting and creates laziness. Kill streks that give players overwhelming super weapons is very unbalanced. Halo has not done this. It is limited by having no vehicles in multiplayer. Vehicles make Halo fun.

This is the bottom line. Factions of Halo fans who want Halo to be like an older Halo are an equivalent to people who still play counter strike or Quake 2. Nothing is wrong with liking or even preferring a older play style. Think about thist for one moment. You are asking Halo, a game that strives to compete with modern video games, to return to a antiquated but enjoyable experience. This doesn’t make any logical sense. Something like a remake of Halo 2 or 3 would make these desires more grounded.

Final note. It took me a long time but I realized the biggest reason for why I hated Call of duty. It wasn’t the flaws I mentioned or could spend hours discussing. The reason I hated Call of Duty was because it removed Halo as top dog. It attracted Halo fans to stopping playing in a awesome universe with a great community. I think if you look with yourself you may realize this statement being a little true.

Halo is still the best. Love you guys.

P.S Random weapon drop placement is not a good idea.

This looks more like a ‘‘I hate CoD thread’’ :open_mouth:

Read it first. There is no way you read it that quickly.

The only thing im skeptical about is instant respawning.
For the rest, it was time for a change and it soounds awesome, still hope there is a firefight mode though just one like odst , lots of fun

I want the discussion to move to things like Clan support, theater improvements, dedicated servers and the freedom to leave the boundaries of the map in forge.
