JUST got my July Issue of Game Informer, which this month has their Top 50 games of E3.
Halo 4 got on the top 10 with #6 on the top 50.
Heres the funny thing. Heres what else it beat.

and get ready for it…
Black Ops 2 came in at #32.
All those listed above are AAA titles. For Halo 4 to beat those, let ALONE God of War? I’d say thats pretty -Yoinking!- impressive.

God of War got boring for me after their second game, it’s the same thing every single time. Civilians run away and get murdered. Every NPC is useless and you are a one man army.
Halo has always been a better game than GOW IMO. So I’m not surprised.

I still like the story though
OT: I wasn’t expecting Halo 4 to beat God of War though let alone Gears.

Bah…GI is biased.
H4 will have a better replay factor than all the games that came in above it.
GI just has an anti-halo hard on. I bet as Black Ops gets closer you will see them putting it above H4 in their ratings.
It is nice that they are giving it this much credit so far though =)

Dishonored, Borderlands 2, and AC3 will probably have more replay value.
I respectfully disagree good sir. With SO and the plethora of other matchmaking and forge goodness, I doubt that those games will pull most halo players away from H4 for very long.
I am letting my own personal bias shine through here too though. My friends and I got bored very quickly with the AC titles and Borderlands, and GOW.

I dunno man, Borderlands kept me playing for the long haul, and I expect Borderlands 2 to do the same.
No reason we can’t all play both, though.

Borderlands 2 is a massive game, the first one kept me playing for awhile. Dishonored gives you so many options to approach a mission it’s not even funny.
I might have gone off on a tangent when I said AC3. While I love the series, you’re right they get boring, but that’s what the MP is for.
Still, like WulfwoodSins said, no reason we can’t play either one of 'em.

I understand what your saying but imo GI isn’t biased. AC3 was really good and the Last of Us was also very good. The BO2 trailers so far on Machinima have gotten about half the dislikes from the likes which is VERY odd for a COD game and thats on YouTube no less, going back to MW2 and MW2. Borderlands however is proving to be very nice. I have a friend whos trying to get me to play it.
Not being a fanboy here, just saying, from my perspective, it doesn’t look too much biased.
Too bad the 10 year olds are still going to buy Black Ops 2 with their mom’s credit card.
Yup, that’s why I threw in the edit about my own personal bias…I fully agree that we can play as many as will keep us happy, for as long as they keep us happy

People just aren’t as excited for BO2. They’re beginning to realize what fools they are for brig suckered into the same sequel over and over. Halo 4 is a much desired return though, and from the looks of it, an actually new experience in terms of Halo.
