After a game of infection I believe, my menus where it displays the spartan was darker than usual and it has stayed like that. I am unable to change the colors of my emblem, it is just blank and I was wondering if there was any solution.

Have you closed the game down from the main menu and/or tried hard resetting the console (hold the power button down for 10 seconds).
You could also try clearing your local game save data for Halo 5: Guardians
It happens sometimes. Suddenly its back to normal. I haven’t really understood it myself, but restarting the game doesn’t help. Restarting Console might help or internet.
I usually just keep playing and then it suddenly works again at some point.

Yeah, its a glitch that happens occasionally with the lighting of the map effecting your spartan.
