AS you can see from the title, I’m tired. Reading the same -Yoink- every day and try to understand it. The game hasn’t even come out yet and people are complaining for various reason:
They don’t want Sprint, because halo 3 didn’t have sprint - Even if they take sprint, is the community gonna be happy? Or they’ll complain for that being removed; - They don’t want ADS, because ruins the game - First of all, it’s called Smart Scope, and second still has the same mechanics as the original zoom, no flinch, doesn’t slow you down, you get descoped if you get hit and accuracy is the same from firing from the hip, so saying that Smart Scope ruins the game is just -Yoink-; - Halo 5 not having FireFight or Spartan Ops is going to ruin the game - Warzone was made to put Invasion and Firefight together an entire new experience. But news flash, Halo 3 didn’t have Firefight or Spartan Ops in the game, and it was played a lot. - No playable elites - Not having playable elites in Halo isn’t exactly the end of the world. Halo 2 and 3 had elites, but it was just cosmetic, on Halo Reach there was differences between Spartans and Elites and it was played more as a Spartan than Elites; - No SplitScreen - We live in a world where we’re all connected through the Internet and the need for splitscreen in a game is becoming more useless, yes there’ll be splitscreen on multiplayer, but it’s just that, you can still do system link between your friends; - Microtransactions - You have the option to buy premium REQ packs using real money, you have more chance to get a nice looking weapon, armor piece, assassinations or a vehicle, but you can win that normally using REQ point to buy normal packs, so no trouble. And as you know, the money used to buy these premium packs are going to be used as the prize money for the HCS.As you can see, everyday we get these -Yoink-, so I just going to say I’m going to buy the game, I’m going to play a lot of it, I’m going to enjoy Arena and Warzone, the game is looking really good and if you don’t buy it, it’s because you’re stupid for not buying it, but it’s your choice.
It just seems 343 hates solo and co-operative players, in my opinion, Plus, you could play system link, but, well, you would not only need two Xbox Ones, but also two HD TVs as well.

You’re complaining that you can play system link and you need a TV, an Xbox one and a game? I wonder if people complained that they had to do the same for Halo CE when the original Xbox was around. We would have never gotten to the popularity of Halo that it is today.

Um, except back then 4 player split screen was an option. And also, this is more of the problem that if a family (like, maybe brothers/sisters) wanted to play Halo together they would have to buy their own Xbox, their own Halo 5, and their own HD TV, even though they are in the same house.

I agree with you for everything EXCEPT split screen. There’s also a world where people have fiends that don’t have xbox ones and like to play local with you. I’m sure I’m the minority in this but me and my friends would always hang out and do some co op. All and all, the haters are just really loud and think it’s a good idea to complain about a game that hasn’t been released.
I am tired of people feeling like they have to say that other people’s concerns about what we’ve been told and shown about the game are invalid. You don’t care about the things other people care about. Good for you, dude. Here’s a cookie.
Alright. i’m just going to systematically destroy points 3-5 here really super quick here because I have better things to do than get into yet another long argument/debate/whatever about how all this ****ing cut content is a good thing.
Halo 5 not having Firefight isn’t going to RUIN the game, sure. But it is a massive letdown. And Warzone is NOT a good replacement for Firefight. Warzone was not even made to be a replacement for Firefight. It is a separate mode entirely. And yes, while it looks fun, it’s not customizable. You can’t forge the maps. You can’t play it locally at all. You have to have Gold for it. And you have to play with other players… No. No Firefight won’t break Halo 5, yes, but what they have in place of it is not suitable as a replacement for it at all.
It was heavily hinted at that playable elites would be in this game. Halo 2, 3, and Reach had them. And people made a huge thread asking for them. The Machinima community especially wants them. The canon supports it. And… They’re not in this game. Again, yes, not the end of the world but it’s just more ****ing cut content. And I’m sorry but Warzone is not enough to tide me over.

Yeah, with only 2 players. What map is suitable for only 2 players?
But I dont blame 343, I blame Microsoft. They, not 343, are the ones who are gonna benefit from people buying multiple Xbox Ones despite living in the same house.
As much as I agree with you, I’m also tired of posts like this. I wish everyone would just stop complaining, whether they’re complaining about Halo 5 or complaining about people who complain about Halo 5.

It sure seems like the only reason to post is to complain, but I promise it’s not.
Sources: I have 1100+ posts, none of which are complaints.
