I am SO glad there is mid game joining...

I played Reach again today and it was RIDICULOUS I tried to play a simple Big Team Battle match and EVERY -Yoinking!- MATCH at least 2 people would quit, and that would lead to us getting spawn killed and be unable to win.

just 2 in a 8 team game? wow, I wish that happened to me. I always get 5 ppl to quit in a 6 team game in Invasion…

yes, I am super glad JIP is in Halo 4 (but it can stay out of ranked matches)

I hope that it only puts you into games that are less than half complete because it’s not worth joining if it’s anything over that. Then again, this new point system works completely different and supports join in-game.

I hope you can choose whether or not you join in progress. I don’t want to be thrown into a game where my team is down 12 kills.

I’m glad this has been added.

Also, as far as no friends playing Reach: Wipe out enough friends to add more people, and then send friend requests to people who you meet while playing Reach, who have mikes. Then you’ll be much more likely to have more “friends” who play Reach more often.

At first, I really didn’t like the idea. However, after I played a few games of BTB yesterday and people quit or were horrible… I’m alright with the feature. Now the only problem is if I join a game where I’m down by like 10 kills. Ugh.

This, I am happy to see JIP implemented, but I sure as hell would want this setting on at all times.

Yes, I am VERY happy JIP is coming into Halo 4. After playing a match of Double Team and my partner quit…I was beyond pissed.

Yes, I welcome it.

Just as long as the net code is better then Reach. My nightmare scenario is, someone drops Black Screen, five seconds latter someone joins, and Black Screen again. I would honestly like to see a bit more punishment involved for quitting, like loss of credits, or in game currency.

I hope that they have some sort of intelligence behind it since it has no servers.

*Host leaves, Black screen to select new host.

*Back to the game, new player joins, has best connection, black screen to choose new host.

*New player sees that he joined a loosing team, quits, black screen again to select new host.

*Rinse and repeat.

I hope that there are Ranked playlists with the same kind of settings that we know from every other Halo but for social playlists I see no problem with join in progress.

oh god why, i mean perks( yes i’m calling them perks) are okay i don’t mind them along with custom loadouts but FREAKING MID GAME JOINING wtf 343 are you trying to make call of halo or something?

JIP will absolutely suck, you’re far more likely to join a team who are losing terribly and you are far more likely to get split up from your friends. In previous games Halo has always had the best MM system to avoid these problems and now it is gone that really annoys me.

indeed.

What is the most common reason for someone to quit? Because their losing, so what’s the most common team to joining? The losing one. Now why would I want that? Ever play CoD? If you are joining solo not in a party half the time you get games that are about to end or just ended and guess what side you’re on? The losing one. Brilliant!

I do hope they introduce some sort of opt in/out or active roster playlist or something where you can gain double xp so if I don’t want to join a game with a score deficit that is beyond salvageable, where the other team has full map control, all the power weapons and a well set up spawn trap I don’t have to. May be the ability to join friends mid game if they are men down would be nice but one thing is for sure I never want to see this feature attached to a competitive playlist.

if you join a game that’s losing, oh well. It’ll be over in a few minutes and you’ll get points and you can start over fresh. That’s all. Stop whining, people.

Not everyone wants a bad W/L ratio.

What about the problem of being split up from your friends?
