So, as you all know the pre-order bonuses given to those who pre-ordered (including myself) will be available to everyone as DLC sooner or later. Now I don’t know about you, but this pisses me off. I paid $100 to get Limited Edition content available by pre-ordering ONLY. Not to have other people able to buy it for a lower price months later.
I can understand the viewpoint from someone who didn’t pre-order, they can’t get an armor permutation or skin due to the fact that they didn’t have any money at the time. Well that’s to bad. If I paid extra money to a company to get extra content that is only available for pre-ordering, then I expect it to stay available only for pre-ordering. Alas, I’m still buying the game because it looks fantastic, but -Yoink!- 343i. Think.
You don’t have to pre-order the limited edition. All pre-order exclusives are free of charge, so I see no reason not to release them to the public eventually.
By then, whatever you got from preordering wouldn’t be cool anymore!!! Every cool person in the lobby would wear Promethean/Forerunner/UNSCwizard armor or skin unlocked by playing the game for hours on end!

if that’s true, then okay. I’ll be fine with Preorder DLC (even if I’m very against the thought of it). otherwise… someone who paid $400 for the LE Xbox and gets the $400 skin just for someone else to get it later for $3… -_-

I understand your frustration about the LE content but I believe the bulletin only addressed the pre-order DLC, I think it’s safe to say that the LE content will not be available on its own.

Lol I think you should look in the mirror and repeat the highlighted sentence a few times (except use proper grammar when saying it).
Deal with it! No, 343i is NOT releasing the content of the Limited Edition version of the game, so quit your whining. They said that it’s not unreasonable to believe that they could release the RETAILER EXCLUSIVE PRE-ORDER BONUSES as DLC in the future. That doesn’t mean they will, it doesn’t mean they won’t. But either way, they’d be releasing the bonuses from the retail stores, NOT the ones from the LE.
You should make sure you actually comprehend the situation before making assumptions.

Nope, they just said that the content will be unique to each SKU, so I guess it’s safe to say that the content that comes with the console bundle will be different than the content that comes with the LE.
