Oh man, a recruit rank is dipping out? Woe is me.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion especially when they’re paying for a product. Everyone loves that nostalgic feeling so when MCC came out it brought back all those great memories of Halo 1-3. Then everyone figured that Halo 5 would be just like that but better because it was a new game. I’m thoroughly enjoying it in my opinion. But all these so called “fanboys” are complaining that it’s “not halo” and I think that’s crap. I’m glad it’s changed a bit because if it was always the same then you’d have COD, the same game every year just dressed in different ways. This is a breath of fresh air. The visuals feel like Halo and the gameplay, although different, still feels like Halo to me but just evolved and updated.

The endless, constant, incessant, non-constructive discussions about how people intend to leave the forum. I try to help where I can with the “You’re an adult do what you want, now why are you making a thread about it?” but most of the time it falls on deaf ears…

343 doesn’t you, or anyone else anything! that’s one of the major problems with gamer forums today. Everyone thinks they’re owed something because they chose to spend money on something. Nobody forced you to buy/rent/play Halo 5. If you don’t like it trade it in for something else and move on.

See if you played MCC you’d know that it wasn’t playable from November to May which is half a year so no they can’t expect people to forgive when H5 has only been out for 3 weeks but we had to deal with MCC for 6 months

Great memories form MCC? I’ve never seen so much hate and justifiably so given how broken that game was for months. 343 royally screwed it up and all you got out of it was a few weeks of free membership access.

I did spend a considerable amount of time on a general gaming site. But got sick and tired of having debates with kids. Some treads here now I will just glance over and not even bother. Its not worth getting worked up over. Don’t let the hardnoses on here bother you either even the ones in this thread. There are some very rational adults here if you hang out here long enough.

People like this is why we get incomplete games his argument would make sense if I got the game for free. I sincerely hope you never purchase anything that cost more than 60 bucks say a 100 thousand dollar house or car because if you do I have some beach front property in Arizona for you lol

No unlike some in here I work for my money and when I purchase something for entertainment I expect to be entertained I don’t want to sit and wait for a developer who had 3 years and teams dedicated to specific parts to the game to get it together after the game was released they didn’t wait to get my money or offer me a pay as you go option in this day and age it’s amazing that people allow this to happen

Again, it’s not like they didn’t want me to. It’s not like they supported massive pre-order programs so that people could front a ton of money for exclusive content before anyone could know if the game was good. It’s not like they had giant (misleading) advertisements everywhere endorsing your purchase of $60. I wasn’t forced to support 343, but they were actively telling people to support them. I simply did what they said.
What, was 343 wrong to tell me to do that?

And the blind defending of 343I from your posting is disgusting as well, so id say you are both on equal grounds.
343I does owe the players something, and that is getting what was advertised, not getting an incomplete game with the excuse of “oh don’t worry guys we will add it eventually for free”
Also the advertisement for the campaign was misleading as all hell as it did not play out at all like what they were advertising with this whole EPIC Locke vs MC battle.
I’m not even saying the game is bad because it’s actually great but the body of work is missing such as lack of playlists its basically warzone and 4v4 slayer matches, the user interface is probably one of the worst seen in a halo game aside from H4. Here’s a tip 343 user interface should not cause confusion for the user should be sweet and simple and why do we have to go to waypoint to view our medals, or why doesn’t Microsofts flagship titles not work with smart glass yet battlefield 4 does. This are my grips with 343

I am going to stay in this forum but yes I am tired of all the complaining that is the Halo 5 forum.
