I am no longer going to visit this forum. All I ever see is nonconstructive posts that don’t even offer opinions or how the game should be fixed. Yes this isn’t Halo 3… But as a halo 1-3 hardcore player, I am greatly enjoying this new entry into the halo series. GREATLY.

Good luck. I belong to some other forums relating to Halo 5 and there are plenty of negative comments in those places. If someone spends their money on the game they’re entitled to their opinion whether it’s positive/negative. Censoring posts here to only focus on the good stuff isn’t the answer.
I’ll most likely be around. Just won’t post as much lol. It was mostly my RANT to the RANTERS. Which is basically the majority of what I have seen.
Well, most forums, doesn’t matter what market/product/service, are full of negative comments. The people who have strong opinions are usually the ones that have complaints. The people who enjoy the product/service, are satisfied and enjoy using the product while the ones who are not satisfied sign on these forums to voice their opinion. Just how it works.
This forum is pretty bad XD I don’t go on it as much as this other forum.

As a consumer that paid for the game people have a right to complain about what they paid for if 343 don’t like it issue the people who complain a refund if not suck it up and deal with it it’s part of the territory and besides they have a lot to make up for especially since it took them 6 months to somewhat fix MCC

I believe they have already made it up. Never played MCC so I can’t comment on that. But H5 has been out for 3 weeks now. I think they have more than made up for the 5 years there has been no “real” halo in my opinion. Big update this week and they are addressing big community concerns. Just not on here. Which is why I don’t understand why people rant and moan…

For the most part I hang out here to try to counter the negativity. Some complaints are legit other are not. for example, The constant split screen threads and sprint threads should be censored at this point Just my opinion. Why? Because Sprint is here to stay its not going away ALL modern games have it in some form. Its been explained in detail why there will be no split screen. So both of those are what they are and if necessary have a pinned locked thread for people that just won’t let it go.
But that said. I often try to counter with positive things about the game to offset or at least point out that sometimes the complaint is anywhere from trival to minor. IF you really like the game I would recommend doing what I do.

I have tried but it is exhausting and most the time fall upon deaf ears. I completely agree with you on the split screen and sprint topics…

Oh man, a recruit rank is dipping out? Woe is me.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion especially when they’re paying for a product. Everyone loves that nostalgic feeling so when MCC came out it brought back all those great memories of Halo 1-3. Then everyone figured that Halo 5 would be just like that but better because it was a new game. I’m thoroughly enjoying it in my opinion. But all these so called “fanboys” are complaining that it’s “not halo” and I think that’s crap. I’m glad it’s changed a bit because if it was always the same then you’d have COD, the same game every year just dressed in different ways. This is a breath of fresh air. The visuals feel like Halo and the gameplay, although different, still feels like Halo to me but just evolved and updated.

You know what else needs to get censored?
The endless, constant, incessant, non-constructive discussions about how people intend to leave the forum. I try to help where I can with the “You’re an adult do what you want, now why are you making a thread about it?” but most of the time it falls on deaf ears…

343 doesn’t you, or anyone else anything! that’s one of the major problems with gamer forums today. Everyone thinks they’re owed something because they chose to spend money on something. Nobody forced you to buy/rent/play Halo 5. If you don’t like it trade it in for something else and move on.
