I am returning this piece of crap.

> Really? Because if I remember right, for the most part, they’re the same people who worked for Bungie when Bungie had the rights.
> But hey, a new name allows them to get chewed out when, afterall, they mostly did this for the campaign, for the fans, and not for the multiplayer which, had they redone it, would have divided the community too much once Halo 4 released.

You remember incorrectly. Bungie said that you can count all the people that used to work there that now work at 343 on one hand… when they tried to count it, they only got up to three. Everyone else are apparently nerf-herders.

And what do you think of the campaign?

> You remember incorrectly. Bungie said that you can count all the people that used to work there that now work at 343 on one hand… when they tried to count it, they only got up to three. Everyone else are apparently nerf-herders.

Still, there’s people from Bungie working on it. Not only that, but the other people from 343i have stated multiple times that they’re dedicated fans of the series. Why would they so insistently screw it up like some of the people make it seem?

On top of it all, expecting this game, an anniversary edition mind you, to be God’s gift from Heaven is way overestimating given the time frame the company/companies was/were stuck working under. Also, instantly cussing out a game that hasn’t been out that long is a bit uncalled for. It’d be one thing if this was still going on for another month but I still believed there were still updates being done to the multiplayer. =/

I don’t think OP understands what he purchased.

and so the cycle ofbashing the newest game begins again, anyone else sick of it?

> Second, when my co-op buddy respawned on PoA, he respawned weaponless.
>
> Third, how much did 343 spend hiring Skywalker Orchestra to re-record the soundtrack? Because they paid too much if it was over $20.

Just like the original…

You can still chose the original option.

Don’t let this ruin your future with Halo. Just remember that 343 and friends had a specific timeline that couldn’t be changed, which didn’t give them much time. And, this obviously wasnt the biggest task 343 had… a lot more of their people would most likely be on Halo 4. Don’t turn your back on Halo, yet. Just wait and see what Halo 4 will be like, then make your decision.

As for all the problems… I don’t have it yet (Gonna get it tonight as long as nothing goes wrong with the shipping), and then I can look at it. Im feeling pretty good about it… but we’ll see.

Have they fixed the jump height in the anniversary classic playlist? Cos I downloaded the gametype yesterday and it was still unchanged from default reach.

> and so the cycle ofbashing the newest game begins again, anyone else sick of it?

Aye. It makes me want to go slay more dragons in Skyrim.

> > > guys check this out i got a plan: im gonna go out, buy a new game, play it for 5 hours, rage over things that can be fixed by tomorrow, rage about a website update which is also not even a day old, forsake all things Halo based on my 5 hour experience, then im gonna blog about it on the same site im raging about

You know that like only 2-3 people on the 343i staff worked for Bungie right?

Also I am interested in what OP is saying becuase these are serious issues that NEED fixing.

Frankie, Shishka, and Vic are to my knowledge the only former Bungie employee’s on 343i’s staff.

So to say the entire Bungie staff is made up of all former Bungie employee’s is quite ludicrous.

But to bash a game that is only 7 1/2 hours old on the East Coast is absolutely even more ludicrous.

We already know Reach is a bad game, CE:A was made for the 10 year mark of CE and Xbox. I even still have the Halo Limited Edition Green Xbox in it’s original box tucked away in my closet

This is just a temporary band-aid till Halo 4 comes out. I just hope they don’t over-hype Halo 4 because I’m really getting tired of being let down. I’ve been pretty much uninterested in Halo since Halo 3. CE and H2 are the best. H3 and Reach are just, ugh…horrible for me because of campaign and the whole multi-player experience.

There are just WAY too many playlists on Reach. I say go back to the Halo 2 days where there was, what at most 9 or 10 playlists??

Reach currently as of right now has:

13 playlists in Competitive
4 playlists in Co-Op
3 in Community
5 in Anniversary

25 Playlists! That is just WAYYYYY too many playlists!! That is Reach’s demise. They tried to cater to all types of players when in fact they don’t go by the common knowledge, less is more when it comes to video games.

> > So according to you Halo 4 will suck?
>
> Well, Anniversary isn’t really convincing me to go out and spend my money on 343’s future work.

Thats good to hear cause we dont need you type of people ruining the game for us. so go play play your cruddy Call of duty or battlefield and leave us be

The thing about reach was that they are exploring the idea of AA so that they might use them in other Halo Titles. They wanted to see how eveeryone would play with them in every different situtaion. In my opinion (even though it is not one) Reach multiplayer is a beta for Other Halo titles still to come

God, I hope not. AAs suck.

> I just wrote what I needed to write. Isn’t that what the forum is for? Community input? You don’t like it, don’t read it.

The forum is to talk about halo & other stuff, not to complain & whine & say 343 sucks…after 1 little game
