I am returning this piece of crap.

I can’t believe I wasted $40 and all that time being hyped for this -Yoink!-. That’s exactly what this is, an -Yoink!-! I didn’t experience the problems people listed about the game before official release, like the Classic-mode Plasma Pistol Glitch, or the screen turning white rendering gameplay impossible. But I did encounter several other problems.

First off, GUESTS ARE NOT SUPPORTED. :stuck_out_tongue:

Second, when my co-op buddy respawned on PoA, he respawned weaponless.

Third, how much did 343 spend hiring Skywalker Orchestra to re-record the soundtrack? Because they paid too much if it was over $20.

Fourth, and the biggie: MATCHMAKING, or rather, FULL-OF-FAIL-MAKING. I played Anniversary Classic on Beaver Creek. Let me start by saying, beautiful and faithful work by Certain Affinity, great job guys! Now, I’ll get on 343. What the Blam! is wrong with you?! The player speed is WAY too fast, the jump height is all wrong (It’s supposed to be height decreased and gravity decreased, not both INCREASED. Now you jump too high and fall too fast), and MY PISTOL IS BLOOMING. AR’s are shredding me from across the map and my Magnum does as much damage as it does in Vanilla Reach! WTF, I thought that’s what the *Blam!*ing TU was for, Bloom removal for Anniversary!! And then, oh, after two matches, “Xbox Live is unavailable” is flashing on my screen.

Fifth, the new Waypoint (console and web) doesn’t wanna load some features. And the UI is amazingly designed. At least when Bungie went and did some sort of update, it worked or they got on it to fix it immediately.

343, you had your chance… you blew it. I don’t think I will spend another dime on your Blamin’-Blamity-Blam-Blam! so-called video games again.

So according to you Halo 4 will suck?

> Second, when my co-op buddy respawned on PoA, he respawned weaponless.

Derp.

I just wrote what I needed to write. Isn’t that what the forum is for? Community input? You don’t like it, don’t read it.

There’s only so much you can do with Reach. It’s not a good game.

> So according to you Halo 4 will suck?

Well, Anniversary isn’t really convincing me to go out and spend my money on 343’s future work.

> There’s only so much you can do with Reach. It’s not a good game.

Reach was obviously different than H2 or H3, but it was alright before 343 got it’s grubby hands on it.

guys check this out i got a plan: im gonna go out, buy a new game, play it for 5 hours, rage over things that can be fixed by tomorrow, rage about a website update which is also not even a day old, forsake all things Halo based on my 5 hour experience, then im gonna blog about it on the same site im raging about

flawless victory

I’m enjoying the campaign, though I did encounter a glitch where I got a checkpoint when I died. So I died, it reloaded the checkpoint and I was already dead. The camera was just sitting there, and I couldn’t do anything. Had to restart the level. Though, I remember something like that happening in the original too…

Anyway, I like the campaign (glitches and all), but I don’t like how 343 handled the ‘classic’ gametypes for MM.

Reach was the 2nd best Halo game. halo 3 was a let down.

OP is just being a hipster. :stuck_out_tongue: You seem to forget that we are in the early months of 343 getting to know Halo and how it works. Obviously there’s going to be several missteps before they get in the zone.

Reason already explained the pistol in his thread, so eh.

No, what I’m raging about is 343 doesn’t have their yoink! together and they don’t deserve the Halo rights.

Really? Because if I remember right, for the most part, they’re the same people who worked for Bungie when Bungie had the rights.
But hey, a new name allows them to get chewed out when, afterall, they mostly did this for the campaign, for the fans, and not for the multiplayer which, had they redone it, would have divided the community too much once Halo 4 released.

'Kay. Such adorable raging for someone who wasn’t forced to buy the game.

I completely agree, just not as upset. Hoping that 343 fixes it… Is just hoping. Campaign is legit though, other than some of the bugs.

well Mr. Rager i would say thats that, goodbye Halo

you can get off the site now

I feel you, just don’t bring MP back at all if you want to -Yoink- it up that bad. Shooting the pistol is like listening to someone scratching a chalk board.
