I called up xbox live support and asked the agent if the act of teabagging was a bannable offense, and he told me that according to the Xbox live ToS, harassment is a bannable offense, and that teabagging in any game can be considered sexual harassment, and that I should file a complaint.
So that’s what I am going to do. If anybody teabags me in matchmaking, I am going to report you for harassment. Enjoy your bans!
I’m kidding though, I won’t report anybody for teabagging, but the agent did say it can be considered harassment. Kind of odd, don’t you think? Especially considering companies such as bungie encourage teabagging. I don’t know if 343 does the same, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Tea bagging is a harassment if you do it to everything. To the opposing teams’ bodies, to your team’s bodies, to Wraiths, to Warthogs, to Ghosts, etc.
The occasional -Yoink!- is meant for sport, not harassment.
Edit: 343 takes tea-bagging as a joke as per adding the Easter Egg where the Hologram will -Yoink!- and introducing “Mantis-bagging”. They do not do it for any sexual reason.
Actually, if you guys can remember, If you’d T-Bagg someone in Halo: Reach (not sure if it was in 3 as well), you could see the body you were humping, it’s crotch, moving slightly.
(Pardon me for my use of language, I tried my best to use “clean” words.)
