I am really bad in team snippers

I am really bad with the sniper rifle, not the beam rifle or the binary rifle, only that blasted human sniper rifle. Why? Beacause the stupid thing has no crasshairs just a stupid circle. I dont expect 343 to change it since it has been that way since Halo CE, but I find it strange that I can take a dmr and hit some one who is across that map, but give me the sniper rifle I am completely useless.(unless it is for anti-vehicle reasons) But if I have a beam rifle, I can get snapshot metals easily.

I wish thay had the beam rifle in team snipers, heck, I’ll settle for a pistol, I’m that bad.

I’m also terrible with a Sniper Rifle in this game. Wasn’t like that in the other games though. I can’t even 1 shot somebody with it unless they’re shields are down, and yet I keep getting 1 shotted.

You know that horizontal line in the scope is there so you can line up your shots more easily. Try using it for real it helps a lot.

you just need to practice. The sniper hasnt really changed since H3. i can pick it up in big team slayer and pick people off no problem in 1 shot just like all the other halos.

Personally I love the sniper and am great at it. I think it’s a little more difficult than Reach or 3 to land a headshot but i HATE the Beam Rifle. I think we are opposites because everything you say about the sniper rifle, that’s how I feel about the beam rifle. Strange…

Everyone can use the beam rifle. my dog could even noscope you with a beam rifle if he wants to.

I also prefer the Beam Rifle, but still have no problem using the Sniper Rifle. The only bad thing about the Beam Rifle is people just two-shot rapidly to the body… But it’s still a lot easier to use.

I just hate team snipers at exile. I suck at it when I play there. The strange thing is, in exile almost all kills are two body-shots while in Ragnarok it’s mostly headshots. I like Ragnarok more though. Except in BTB.

The reason the Beam Rifle is so easy to snapshot is because it actually has aim assist when no scoping where as the Human Sniper does not. i don’t know why the decided to make it that way or if its just a glitch but i really think it needs to be fixed. It dominates at any range which kinda defeats the purpose of a sniper rifle.
