I am quite tired of these garbage spawns.

As I plat, and play, the spawns get worse. EVERY single game I play, I get spawnkilled multiple times. Or just spawn miles away from my spawn point.

My last game I played, I spawned on our armory, and it spawned me closer to our home base than the armory.
And in that game, another horrible spawn.
I spawn on the armory, once again, But instead it decided to spawn me outside towards the garage, in which the enemy team has already captured… So they had ghosts out by there, which decided to Spawnkill me also. I spawn out in the wide open and got shot as soon as u spawned.

I couldn’t even take cover, as it literally put me in the dead open.

I would love to see this fixed, and if it is on purpose, then the game type, warzone, is quite bad with spawns, which make everything else bad with it.

And I’m sure other people can agree with this, as my friends do also.

.

I believe this is something 343 plans to fix in a upcoming patch.

I do really hope so.
It’s quite bad in arena also.

Warzone is what it is, just a casual, fun game mode. Don’t fret over it. Look at it like this, I have an opportunity to make an amazing clip if I survive this and kill all these dudes.

In arena, the higher you get in rank, the more game knowledge your teammates will have. If you are getting spawned on, or behind, or placed “in front” of an enemy, it is most likely a teammate that is out of position, or you yourself. There is also the possibility that they are invading your teams setup and occassionally that just happens. But keep an eye out for where you teammates are. If you guys are relatively posted up and someone on your team rushes in when you have a large open spawn zone near you, then your teammate screwed you. It happens until you get to about 1650 in onyx, almost totally disappears once you hit 2000. Obviously your best bet is to learn the spawns and play with a group of 4.

Well said.

Yup, too many spawn kills!

Spawning is pathetic in this game. This is especially true for the SWAT playlist. The maps are WAY too wide open and small. I understand that 343 wanted to go for a more up tempo and high paced feel with this game, but the maps are seriously tiny, and there are way too many lines of sights on some maps like The Rig and Empire. They are some of the smallest maps in the series by far.

It would be nice if there were some maps that harkened back to Halo 2 and 3 where there were more interiors and corridors, rather than virtually a large open space with a few walls and barricades in the way.

The way the maps are designed right now, it is way too easy for the enemy to spawn kill, as they can basically sit from the other side of the map and scout the spawn.

I get your point, but the maps would be horrible without lines of sight. Halo’s best maps always had various angles to target the enemy. There are lot of variables that need to be determined for you to spawn in the most ideal location, so it’s lot tougher than you think. And, also the best players will be able to control your spawn location so the most optimum place isn’t always the best.

Be glad you now spawn with a capable weapon to teamshoot yourself out of your spawn. I remember some of the worst games in Halo 2 spawning with an SMG to get shot right away by BRs (if only I had a BR to break the spawn)
