Full launch is just a day and a half away, so it’s time to clean up the Series S harddrive.
Is there information out there about preloading the campaign?
I’d love to know which game i have to ditch in order to install Infinites campaign.

Some people have received a popup for the preload a while ago but it went pending for them. I guess tomorrow might be preloading time?
In terms of size it’s difficult to judge since there’s a bunch of different assumptions out there. But seeing that Gears 5 consumes 120GB total, I’d expect Halo Infinite to be around that range as well.
Some “leak” shows 97GB total filesize, some other mention just 28GB for the campaign. No stable source really.
I believe that mine has installed to my series S, I’ll have a look when I’m able.
I say “believe”, because I not only had the notification, but then I actually had to clear out space too.
Could just be getting ready of course.
Yeah if we cant preload then its gonna be horrible. Its hard enough trying to avoid spoliers at the moment. With the embargo now up and still 48 hours to go, if we cant preload then i really doubt il will be able to avoid spoilers. Iv already reduced my youtube and other social media usage. Im only one waypoint to find out about pre loading

I preloaded it last night on the xbox app
No doubt it will be done in batches so servers are not too clogged up. Some people may well have it, I don’t have it yet, maybe tomorrow

I got notification, but it shows as done… I think I would need to delete MP part and redownload it

Well they have been advertising preload all week but I’ve yet to have an option to load campaign.
Booked off the launch day and there’s no way I’ll have 50gbs installed at this rate.
Seriously wtf how hard is it to get this sort of basic thing right.
Indies get it right but not the flagship ip for xbox bit of a joke.
As an NZ player, it would be nice to get mine loaded tomorrow (8th), so I can get up and play on Thursday at 8am without having to wait for it to download.
The curse of getting the console I guess haha!

Since i’m working from home, i quickly checked on my Xbox but there is no information available.
I’m under the impression that due to the early release of the f2p multiplayer, the version that i’ve got installed will not update itself or maybe even is separated from the full game.
I’ll check again at 13.00 / 01.00 pm
I can pre-install it with the Xbox app on PC.

No. Is it basically faking me out? The size is 26gb which is MP size… but its odd because I’m specifically under the Halo Infinite (Campaign) and it says “Pre-Install Today” when I go to it.
If it’s 25GB or something, it’s probably the multiplayer part
No I found it. It says coming Dec 8th and I click it, click pre-install, download size says 61.77gb. Seems to check out.
