I scored a pretty sweet DNF last night. My team was up 700-400 and I was storming the exposed enemy core. Was rockin in a gungoose, got blasted by a tank or something else highly explosive. Died. Screen went black. Disconnected. Sad.

I knew I was gonna get banned for quitting if I quit again and one of those times I had to go for dinner and I can’t help that.

Have you stopped to consider it may not be him quitting but the game kicking him out?
If you actually took some time to look at the support forums you will see thread upon thread of disconnection issues.
These started when the new DLC came out.
I could play games without any issue before, however I tried to play yesterday and on monday and guess what? I kept getting kicked back to the MP menu for no reason!
And no it is not my connection as only Halo 5 does this, I tried Destiny, BF4, Hardline etc and none of them kept disconnecting me.
And while I did not get banned I had to stop playing because I did not want to be banned for quitting even tho it is this games terrible servers at fault.

I wonder if people know you could search game history?
If Halo 5 has a known problem with disconnecting people, I’m pretty sure 343 would do something about it. They would know who got kicked and who just quit. I’m pretty sure they can know that level of detail.

Halo 5 can be frustrating at times
21 minutes! I would not be able to cope without Halo 5 for that long.

No they can’t may I direct you to the support section?
They can not tell between a quit and a disconnect so they punish players equally even if its their crappy servers fault.

Exactly, You did what you were suppose to do “I had to stop playing because I did not want to be banned for quitting even tho it is this games terrible servers at fault”. I looked at his stats. He is quitting when he is not doing well. his match in Breakout he went 1 and 5. Thats all I need to see. He quit because he was losing bad. Warzone stats were similar.

I just hate having those DNF’s on my service record and also probably being close to a ban because of them.
If you look at my recent DNF’s the game was barely started at all so I was not winning or getting stomped either.
I would spawn in, rush, kill enemies on first base, proceed to second base and when we went to the middle base where you finally fight the enemy team, boom D/C’ed
I agree OP does quit a lot and sure ban is deserved I just wish there was a way they could distinguish between a server disconnect and an actual rage quit.

Well except thats not true for you. You have 3 DNFs in your last 8 games there. I know what you are doing. You are either shutting down your xbox to hide the fact you are quitting or you are disconnecting your internet so it looks like a Disconnect and not quitting.
