Yes at times I do enjoy the mass killing of others whilst using a REQ vehicle, but most of the time I am not enjoying the match I am in.
Not only is it not fun to lose, it isn’t fun to not have a fighting chance. ( REQ level 2 VS REQ level 5)
It also isn’t fun losing a match I just joined (Score 189 VS 680) because players decided to leave the game they were being destroyed on.
Against a full on Fireteam most likely, that’s another point.
Is losing even fun? Probably not. The only time you would be put at a REQ disadvantage is if the enemy triple cap you early in the game. No reason why you should be lvl 2 vs lvl 5 other way. JiP sucks I must admit, but we must all have to deal with it especially when queuing solo.
I agree. Warzone has become a bit tedious and you can usually tell who is going to win within the first 5mins of the match.
The gamemode still has its great moments but those dont happen often enough
Warzone firefight on the otherhand is awesome (imo)
I’m just gonna be that guy who says “Then don’t play it”
I don’t play Warzone too often because I don’t find it very fun. Do what I do and stick to BTB for larger scale stuff (it’s balanced)
Warzone was a big reason I came back to Halo 5, and it’s seemingly becoming more unplayable in terms of regular starts to games (JIP Boost), players staying through to the full match (5 vs 12 after losing middle point is game over), and the nasty little glitches plaguing the REQ system. Add in the already nuisances of having to play almost entirely against full fire teams, incompetent teammates, and lengthy periods of being trapped in one location, I can see easily how this has been a major moot point for a lot of returning players.
Join a company if you haven’t, play in groups with mics. The game can be completely different.

If your saying it’s impossible it isn’t. I have had it happen before. And yes, especially solo.

Yes, I do find the UI menu very annoying. And the lengthy periods of being trapped is an understatement. We can’t leave because the risk of getting banned is present. And we can’t change the tides as it’s nearly impossible. Or yet completely impossible .

Um, but i really like the concept and wish to have fun playing it. I’ve seen that comment way too much but it doesn’t solve the problem. So don’t comment at all please.
I play warzone to use reqs. I really don’t care much if we win or lose. i mean getting win number 152 on stormbreak isn’t life changing. If the match is close (most aren’t) then I will play the objective and be a good team mate but once the game is decided then I just treat it like a big game of fiesta slayer, where I get to choose the weapon. If you are a solo player, warzone is less stressful if you focus on your performance and k/d and not worry so much about the win. Most of us settle out at @50% win rate anyway unless you play with a full team all the time. So…just play and blow up stuff.
i dont have fun for warzone too
Have fun by just not focusing on winning if the enemy teams win is definite, if I see the match is already one sided I just don’t bother with capping any bases but I go around with an smg and Battle rifle and pick off people trying to destroy legendary bosses, and if you happen to get to req lvl 8 put on a knight blade and energy bayonet on both weapons put on increased melee damage armor MOD and release your melee on vehicles, I’ve killed the driver of a ghost ultra by hitting the front of an ultra, Wether that’s what 343 intended or not I don’t know but I do it because it’s fun, or you know just go around with bayonet and melee every Spartan possible
Warzone was not worth replacing Big Team Battle. Warzone was fun at launch to couple month, and it is boring now.

Thanks.

I will.
I agree with OP. For the first 6 months i played Halo i played only regular warzone. I had a blast playing it solo even. Over time it has become playable. If your my friend and playing it i will not join. The only way to play it is with a full fireteam and then your stomping the other team which i dont fine fun either. Id prefer even matched games but these are a rarity now.
Arena my friend… It’s the way Halo is meant to be played…
Well changing your search to Focused will partially change the joining in progress problem, believe me it makes a difference.
I feel the same way. Warzone is fun, but for me when the opposing team captures two bases, the game is pretty much over. After that its just playing until the timer runs out.
