So when memories of reach drops they said they have some weapon balance update coming with it. This somewhat worries me as weapon balance is something I thing they nailed in this game. I always hated in past games how some weapons were totally worthless and not even worth picking up. Now every weapon has a niche and a use. I hope it doesn’t change to much. The main thing I would like to see is the gun on the warthog and mantis get a slight buff the ttk is just a bit slow and maybe a hydra buff for using it against vehicles.

This will only affect a few weapons such as The Hydra and Plasma Caster. As far as I know anyways, I always try hard with these said weapons in Super Fiesta. I want to like them… They don’t like me back

Well if you think there weapon balance is nailed you need to look around at other sites. 343 is addressing issues with there aiming system for sometime now and it is rarely brought up here on waypoint. There just trying to dial in and tweak things just to make it better. Other things they will probably tweak is radar. Some of these issues have been carried over from prior games. So we can only wait and see what the out come will be… Im sure it wont be ground braking… Just mild tweaks.

That gun is already nuts! When I read that it was getting even stronger, I almost lost it.
Well they aren’t touching any of the loadouts weapons so I’m not really worried.
They are just touching on the ones that aren’t very effective based on player metrics and giving them a little nudge to be more relevant.
The specific changes I read about in the update seem pretty agreeable to me.

There is a difference between aiming mechanics and weapon balance.

If it’s just warzone weapons then it won’t matter. I like warzone but I don’t take that playlist seriously. I just play it for fun.

That is true and you are correct. I was just making note that they are working on there aiming system as well and it may also effect certain weapons more then others. So as they dialing in the aiming system you will probably see some weapon adjustments along the way.

Yea, I found out real quick that it doesn’t have good long range like a normal carbine.
The Pool of Radiance definitely needed the buff, as did Rain of Oblivion.

But now, with it’s new upgrades, it might be a more viable weapon at range.

Don’t worry, kiddo. They haven’t fixed any of the major problems with arena balance that you don’t think exist. They’ve mostly just re-balanced a bunch of worthless REQzone garbage. The only update that kind of matters is to two niche weapons that no one uses in Arena. To the relief of Waypoint users the world over, automatics are still all over the place, still require little to no skill, and still have kill times as good or better than precision weapons. And the Magnum is still undermined by nearly every single on-map weapon. In short: they didn’t do anything at all. Halo 5 still has modern shooter, participation ribbon weapon balance.

Yes twin jewels, the design was kind of weird and stupid, it’s like (for guys) if you pee and your urine forks you’re going to miss your target.
