you were supposed to destroy the Sith not join them
Congratulations!
But overt positivity is actually just as toxic a trait, and being a professional contrarian is exactly what’s killing this game. Most people aren’t sitting here attacking the developers, and if they are, they’re yoinking childish. But this post doesn’t help anything. This post is exactly the kind of self-righteous, enabling, drivel that dampens the fire under a creatives -Yoink!-. Thus allowing them to continue their objectively shady business practices utterly validated and unscathed.
The criticism hurled at this game is absolutely justified, and your assertion that “People aren’t criticizing right” is ill-informed and based purely on perception bias.
People have a right to be upset when this company expects us to drop money in their store on a daily basis, but couldn’t have been bothered to build a better system that allowed for updates and key features that make the experience enjoyable
They’re ten years in on this and they simply can not get the job done. That’s a fact, and quarantine had zero to do with it. They put all the wrong things in the front of the line when they really needed to just work on multiplayer and forge so the community could role out maps and gametypes to be used in MM. Then campaign could have come at a later date. Which nobody would have minded.
Mm could have thrived like this, but they didn’t and it isn’t, so now we’re here having to take in the petty ramblings of people who are desperate to live in a reality where this game isn’t an utter dud. Smh
Exactly, bro… and this is what I’m talking about. This post was made for nobody but him to try and appear better than those with the issues. Painting us as “Unappreciative” when that’s so far from what’s going on here.
He’s quick to knock down our criticism with bluntly blind and ignorant sentiment like what he said to you. Ridiculous.
Infinite has been a ton of fun for me so far too. The campaign was surprisingly good, and the MP is like they took everything i enjoyed about H5 and then added a coat of H3 paint to it.
I really enjoy this weapon sandbox. The balance is there, almost every gun is viable, and as I get better with vehicles they’re feeling less like paper.
One thing I keep hearing that surprises me are people who don’t like the maps much. I know there aren’t a ton of them, but I’m absolutely loving the maps. Imo Live Fire, Streets, Recharge, Aquarius, and all 3 BTB maps are incredible. I’m trying not to jump to conclusions about it, but High Power is making a case for one of my top 5 BTB maps of all time…
All in all, I am beyond pumped for improvements to the game, but I really enjoy what we’ve got.
There is truly many many man beautiful aspects of Halo Infinite and I see that you’ve found a wonderful way to express your happiness and pleasure with the game. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about it.

I wish I could say the same, but every aspect of Halo that I loved and kept me playing has been removed with each 343 release.
It’s surprising how many are just perfectly happy with a ‘campaign’ having the features of a game that was made 15 years ago. Seemed like they spent all their time playing around in the experimental world just like Bungie once did before CE was eventually turned into a FPS. It’s fun (minus getting stuck on rocks half the time), but dang it’s such a generic campaign, like where you complete a task in the middle of an area which then opens up many little tasks; it’s not a new idea by any means. And, much of the time I am trying to figure out which weapon to use; decisions decisions. ![]()
Hopefully in 10+ years when they finally release a sequel, there will be more RP (customization) and connectivity to online players. But, by then, that will also be out of date ![]()
I have fun playing it in short bursts, but the lack of more modes makes it hard to play it more than once or twice a week, especially since I’d rather play ranked than social. If they ever break up the ranked playlist and not shoehorn everyone into a single mixed playlist I’d likely play more often. As it stands I’m tired of oddball and strongholds in ranked.
I believe ‘toxic positivity’ to be a thing when it’s blatant misinformation to sell a game, dogpiling someone for positive opinion, or gaslighting people if they dare criticise the game, but I don’t see any of that with the OP’s post. Their criticisms are 100% fair, and align with a lot of things people say on this board.
To the OP though, I’m glad you’re having fun. I vent a lot on this board so it’s unsurprising that a lot of comments will be negative, but I ultimately enjoy the game enough to come back here every day and talk about the things I don’t like. I hope you continue to enjoy the game, and that the things you want improved get fixed in the end. ^^
you wrong about this.
maybe you not have read the thread about it but there are lot off people that not wane any more forge maps in the multiplayer any more.
there only wane see developer make maps and not from the forge community since there have make it look worse in halo 5 with the worst remake’s there are.
i think there have done it right now with release the campaign also since there are a lot off people playing the campaign a lot and trying things out there maybe also can use in multiplayer.
most off the things like the coil jump have been found out in the campaign story and then people start to use then in the multiplayer.
and you learn a lot off the equipment in the campaign mode to master then good and that you master it in the multiplayer for the first time.
same with the Cindershot weapon that a lot off people have learn its effect what you can do in the campaign mode how to move the shoot when you zoom in with the weapon.
Thank you for making this thread. The forum here is so toxic and negative, it’s refreshing to see people who love the game to be seen or heard over the loud fanboys.
I cant take your opinion serious on multiplayer if youre level 60 on the battle pass at this point. Us hardcore halo fans have ACTUALLY been playing the multiplayer alot since day one, not just dabbling in it every once in awhile.
I’d say most of the hardcore halo fans have dropped the game already.
If they arent playing halo they arent hardcore halo fans. maybe call them ex-hardcore halo fans instead
I think they would be called Legacy fans. Players who really don’t like any extra mechanics than what is found in the original trilogy, but are still pretty hard core in their love for the series (ie still playing legacy games and recreating legacy games feelings in forge/ customs).
I love you.
Well said!
Great post, I’m also loving Halo Infinite and disappointed by the majority of toxic comments from our community.
I’m sticking around. There is something magical about Halo and I probably will play until the day I pass. I play in a Halo League and that helps motivate to stay playing and trying to develop stronger teamwork.
They were also making infinite way before the pandemic was first announced to the world.
