I am assuming you had a 4GB Slim Model?
It’s nice to see 343i are making the change, such a silly error on Microsofts part not making it count as a hard drive but a memory unit.

Yes I do have a 4gb slim I didn’t know about the whole error until I got reach and I was like WTF? really?
I’m glad about this fix as well.
They should really apply this fix to H3 and ODST as well.

Not understanding what the problem was? Not trolling just curious, what happened on 4GB systems and reach?
You couldn’t play FF Matchmaking or Campaign Matchmaking without an HDD.

Well those too of course just this one will mean more people can actually play firefight and campaign together

The Fact that 343i Aknowledged the little guy who got screwed and then helped him out puts 343i in a good stance for me. Let alone the TU that actually adds something Halo Like to Reach.

My old one broke and at the time I had little money. That and I didn’t know about the whole 4gb thing would cause me any complications.

Well some of the changes (like armor lock,bloom,and actual mechanic fixes) won’t take place until October,but the ones that allow the multiplayer in firefight and Campaign will be immediate.
I personally am disgusted at bungie for makeing it so 4GB users couldnt play the stuff when they could. i had to get an HDD which isnt necesarily a bad thing but right now its not exactly that usefull to me except for online firefight and campaign, and i wouldnt need it for fileshare stuff since i mainly wanted to try machinima but i got a let down with bungies rip off plan
all in all i love 343 even more now for doing the right thing

I do agree with you though in all honesty. This should have been fixed immediately.

I’m glad they are finally getting around to fixing this issue. I have some friends that currently cannot play FF with me.
If your not sure what to use your HDD for you can always install all your games to it. It makes the load times quicker for campaign

I think the 360 with HDD’s were made for people who have a steady flow of cash (the people who will download many things in the course of a month), but to make it so you can’t play a certain part or use certain features of a game without it is just ridiculous. I have 320gb ps3 (won it in a contest) as well and I still have over 300gb even with the stuff I have downloaded and save games.
Are these changes only for match making or can they also be applied to campaign games and custom games? Having a beta hopper is nice and all but it would be great to have some customs with friends with these changes.
