To everyone posting on here about how Halo is turning into COD and stuff like it, I don’t care. I have been a fan of Halo since CE and I will be preordering the limited edition of Halo 4. Although i see the similarities they have, Halo will always be its own game because of not only the awesome gameplay, but it’s rich story and setting.
On another note, I’m really excited. The game looks great and I wanted to give my thoughts on it. For one, I hear a lot of people saying PV is over powered and I disagree. I can see inexperienced players focusing to much on scanning the wall in front of them and not on the knife about to plunge into their backs. I can see myself using it a better understanding of where players are on the map or if someone is sneaking up on me(although I must say, you should not be able to see people that are crouched). Overall, it sounds like a great addition to gameplay. I don’t see it as noobs using it to get the drop on me, I see it as an easy way to a kill.
Next I wanted to address the music. I feel like Neil Davidge(I think that’s his name) is doing a great job so far. Like the music from every other Halo game, it reminds me of Halo and sounds epic. Just listen to it,it has the potential of becoming some of the best Halo music yet (no offense to Marty!).
In the end, it’s a Halo game. I will be buying the next Xbox just so I can finish the Reclaimer Trilogy. Have faith in 343, they seem to know what they’re doing.
I like all the additions. Change is a good thing. If all they did was add new maps, weapons and updated graphics then the game would be stale. And that seems to be what people want for some reason. If you like what halo 3 has to offer, go play halo 3. There’s no point in having the same game but calling it something else.

I’m very happy with what I’ve seen of Halo 4! I just ignore people who are fixated on the whole ‘COPYING COD’ thing’.
If they can’t see past the custom load outs then it just shows how limited their scope is.

I am glad that we are finally getting more info. I like the grand scale everything seems to have. I am really encouraged that they are putting such a heavy emphasis on the fiction. I think Spartan Ops will be a lot of fun and something different. You’re right it is an exciting time to be a Halo fan. I just hope all of the changes fit and feel like Halo. I know that is what is being said but I won’t know personally until I get my hands on it.
I agree. From the material I have seen Halo 4 is shaping up to be one of the best Halos yet.
