Really? They had longer than that to simply box up old, worn out retreads (think MCC) and they couldn’t do that right. I’m watching a friend play the beta right now…and it’s…well…it’s as far from Halo as any release yet. It looks like a cheap COD remake in a Halo skin. Terrible.

The Collection wasn’t in development longer.
And, I assume you can port 4 games not optimized for the Xbox One, 3 of which are built on legacy code, combine them into a unified interface, remaster one of the games and upgrade the rest, and more with no issues?
Good for your friend. Now form an opinion with some actual weight when you play the game yourself.
