I am disappointed

So I read about the drop pod that will be coming out soon and there is not a single thing about the campaign in it

Really not a lot in it either which considering these are once a month updates it’s pathetic that updates are this small.

Ok

What do you mean by okdo you not like the campaign

Just an acknowledgement of your topic and nothing more. There’s really nothing to talk about outside of that.

I think people are not only fed up but also mistrusting of all the talk of big plans and all the cool content that will be coming SOON, only to have 343 shroud content news in secrecy which possibly they think creates excitement and anticipation, who knows … (Who … Knows)

The vagueness of information, that’s what concerns me, if there will be no more campaign content maybe for years, why should I keep paying for the game pass. Halo Infinite was marketed to be an ever-expanding game, but I think that’s why the humming and hawing on what and when content is coming, keep promising customers like me … it’s coming, and you will be so happy.

343, I’m sure many people would like to know, is there going to be a campaign expansion and more open world content, Yes or No,
I would like to be super positive about what’s to come, but vague empty promises just wear thin, but maybe all this posting will be for naught, and we’ll all be surprised by a massive content drop, lots of cool maps, and the game will purr along, glitch-free.

Well, they cannot tackle every problem the game has at once.
And currently they are focusing on fixing aspects to the multiplayer that most players are invested in and that makes them the most money.

Logistics would have them target multiplayer fixes first.

Because there’s nothing wrong with the campaign that needs fixing, Mutliplayer is the one thing where issues need to be addressed

  • Lack of Master Sergeant Pete Stacker
  • Lack of Private First Class Chipps Dubbo
  • Lack of Co-Op
  • 1/3rd of the world map is unexplorable
  • We have the bare minimum of skulls
  • Cosmetics that say that they are unlockable in the Campaign are NOT unlockable in the campaign and are therefore unobtainable for now
  • And 343 removed the Scorpion Gun instead of making it a skull

I believe I saw somewhere the scorpion gun came back with the wall skill climbs???

100% this.

No doubt we will get a glimpse at new cosmetic items coming in Season 3 soon, and maybe some screenshots of the new maps they make.
They will start hyping up Season 3 and probably go back to a weekly update format.
Then season 3 will launch, they’ll make just as much money on the battle pass and go dark again, without actually adding or fixing anything while they wait on Certain Affinity’s Battle Royal mode to be ready to save the franchise 343i was suppose to maintain.

I doubt 343’s battle royal will bring too many people they’re targeting back. Especially because the rumoured 100 player variant failed to be even play test ready so they’ve confirmed 50 Spartans.

I remember the article talking about 100 Spartans 5 man squads and bots filling in the unused spaces.

Even 50 Spartans is nice at 10 teams. But in retrospect let’s be honest

When looking at halo’s current gameplay problems, rampant cheating (unless you turn cross play for Xbox in settings), overpriced store and little value for free pass WHEN COMPARED TO FORTNITE AND WARZONE FREE PASS

Would YOU a Fortnite or Warzone player still see a reason to stick around and play halo when you ALREADY have cosmetics, gear, ranks, hours, and likely friends who are still playing the game you’ve BEEN playing that doesn’t seem to have it’s end for the next 10 years+?

Not to mention most of those players have creds, coins, gems what the heck ever in bank already for Thier own games newest trend setting cosmetics. Why are they going to take Thier gamepass earned funds or hard earned money and invest into halo when all I’ve said above rings like a bell to them the moment a thought passes.

I really don’t think halo will be something the fans and real audience of will be happy with for another year or two. I hope and pray they realize this before hand and just work to make this game for the fans, rather then the ones who have already shown they aren’t interested in staying.

I personally could care less about the multiplayer I wish you could use the vehicle and weapon skins in campaign which would be possible to do if they had designed that feature into the game while building it but now that the game’s been built it would be more difficult and almost impossible and the map size in campaign sick

You are wrong there’s a lot of stuff they could add to the campaign bigger maps, I mean for pity sake the Zelda games have bigger maps then Halo more biomes, more vehicle friendly terrain, changing weather, different types of Fob’s instead of them all being the same more weapons, more vehicles, I would especially like the Hornet back more skulls I myself have a long list I would put in the game terminals, and audio logs and I’m sure there’s some other stuff I haven’t thought of yet and give the tank on a model for pity sake I like to be able to see the weapon I’m holding

It would be nice if you could get ammo for the special weapons from normal enemy drops where applicable.
I thought it was really stupid to have to run back to fobs for refills on ammo. Unless they changed that already, I haven’t played the campaign since launch.
Adding cosmetics to the campaign would be nice, even if it’s just gun skins for now. More bang for peoples buck that buy those. They are doing it for MCC which is pretty neat.

Not only that no word on the Custom Game Area being fix nor anything about the Custom Game Browser :worried:

Peace! :fist_right: :fist_left:

And these are add ons that I welcome, but my original response was talking about Campaign doesn’t suffer issues the multiplayer currently has like Desync as the example, the Drop Pod updates mainly target towards Multiplayer, but the Vehicle durability buff & Tank controls should also apply to campaign as well

Battle Royale … I do not think 343 can make it happen within Halo Infinite’s structure. I currently experience so much lag as it is now on 4x4 teams, so what, only people living on top of the servers are going to enjoy it?
I think inside the 343 Halo Infinite test tube everything plays great, but it’s not the real world.

As others have said, the sad part is 343 most likely believes a Battle Royale will save the franchise, so nothing original, just pump out the same content as everyone else, Oh and don’t forget to visit the gift shop.

It is so obvious 343 has not grown and evolved into a better company, all one has to do is look at the TV series, that’s the kind of creative vision 343 is capable of, forgettable throw-away content, perfect for an audience with short attention spans.

It’s kind of similar to that puzzle toy toddlers usually play with. Forcing games to adapt to the BR format is like shoving a Rectangle into the Triangle hole and expecting both shapes to remain in perfect condition afterwards.

It’s gonna be like COD when it was forced into the Warzone BR format, even COD had to undergo changes to make it adapt correctly. Halo will undoubtedly have to be forced into the BR format as well, just like it was with the Free to Play format. They made F2P work in Infinite but it severely changed the multiplayer from previous games. There will probably be Armor Core healing, shielding or boosts and all that jazz, just like all the other BR games out there. Halo BR most likely won’t be “Halo” at all besides in theme and name… a Halo BR will undoubtedly be morphed into a new shape just like COD Warzone.

All I’m saying is they could have at least added one thing for the campaign and the one thing I would want to add could actually be added to multiplayer to and that is the hornet I would really like that vehicle back
