Because people can’t just look up the legendary ending on YouTube?
Nah they don’t get off that easy. They need to fix the game they’ve got.
This will be the last 343 making Halo, this needs to happen.
You end up making 3 Halo games and each one is worse after another.
this feeling I understand lol.
Gameplay wise it is good though even if I don’t agree with the decisions.
Really, lack of content is the problem for me…game needs more maps, game modes and for BTB to work and I would be content.
Being it is free to play and hasn’t costed me a dollar, I am satisfied lol.
Improvements needed quickly or it’s just another failure from 343i.
I think people are going in expecting a full package.
The moment they mentioned “Halo Infinite will be the platform for Halo for the next decade” I knew it was gonna be some live service crap from the very beginning.
The problem with the entire games industry these days is thinking they can sell half-done games and update on the pretense they are DLCs or expansions.
I’m just gonna say this:
Campaign - It’s fun. It really is. But it’s not worth 60 dollars. At most a 40 dollars.
Multiplayer - It’s free, but makes it very clear that you are playing for free on their terms. If you care nothing about personalization, this is the BEST F2P Halo experience you can get. Hands down. And it’s being update for free too, so you can keep playing as Default Spartan. This is an amazing deal… except if you care even a lick about personalization then hoo boy, 343i’s marketing team is waiting in hell with pitchforks.
Anything to come - The fate of Infinite relies heavily, and abit too heavily, on this factor. As a projected 10 year plan, they must have content planned. But the question is this : this is a 10 year plan but our patience isn’t 10 years. We want to see improvements as soon as next month THIS MONTH. You don’t spend 2 years fixing a game, which was how you did MCC. We want improvements, and fast, or you can forget about selling nail polish or cat ears, people will be long gone.
I will say campaign wise it’s kinda a dud. Halo really should have stayed linear… There is nothing wrong with linear games. To me they tell the better story than open world. Open world games are all the same practically…yep no other games out there where you go to an area, even one called a tower, and have to take it over… It seems most developers don’t even want to try any more. More and more it’s look at some ones else’s blue print, adjust it for your own, and sell it… Hopefully they go back to linear style campaigns but odds are this is what we are stuck with for awhile… At this point I wouldn’t be against an ODST style where you find something and it takes you into a linear campaign mission.
The graphics look nice tho, the performance needs fixing
I actually quite liked the Open World. It is impressive and adds to the atmosphere and pacing of the game. I did feel like I was on. Halo ring rather than a corridor. Just compared to other open world games it just doesn’t hit that bar content wise. This isn’t AC Valhalla.
They also do have a formula of keeping the more cinematic missions contained ODST style such as the House of Reckoning, Foundation or Gbraakon. The main issue is they’re telling a fairly small story so it doesn’t feel as grand as it should and there’s less big cinematic moments like running down a Guardian or a Scarab fight.
We might see more linear levels if we get a separate campaign based off the armory and re-taking earth and so on.
Oh I am not expecting us to leave Zeta Halo any time soon. We’re lost in space for a reason.
The multiplayer being set in the main galaxy is likely to address all that stuff. I’ll be very curious to see what details they give in that concerning state of the galaxy stuff. We really don’t know what the Fallout is from all this.
Please go play another game.
Have to agree with OP, this game is unfinished and will most likely add the necessary stuff too late or not at all. By the time Forge releases the player base will be extremely thin, and even then people will come back for what? Finally a chance to play their new favorite Jenga? Yeah idk if people will have as much fun as before, especially after being disappointed and waiting for so long. It’s sad to say but I think 343 deserves this game to fail (financially at least)… they’re showing us they are no longer who they once were (if ever, regarding Bungie also here since a lot are ex employees). Shame.
Not really. 4 is actually a good Halo game despite what the crybabies claim. 5 is also good despite the stability issues.
Despite having the fastest walking speed and movement acceleration rate in the entire franchise, Map design focused more on crouch jumps than grapple jumps so you don’t need to lock in to animations to get around. And with proper deadzones settings, the only difference between sensitivities with the rest of the franchise being the acceleration curve for partial stick movements (it is lower) but it being equal in speed and acceleration at max input if you set acceleration to 5?
The sprint speed is the only thing that’s actually slower than Halo 4 and 5, and that was always a cosmetic form of speed, considering how much bigger all the 4v4 maps got to account for it.
What campaign armor upgrades?
I’m in the final spire, found almost all audio logs, lockers, crates, all artifacts, hvt, fobs, and rescues.
All I’ve unlocked is a couple of armor colors, a vehicle color, and a multiplayer stance. I’ve unlocked the griffen nameplate and decal about a dozen times from the lockers.
he refers to the upgrades to the equipment you use
The movement speed has nothing to do with how stiff the game feels. I’m saying that there’s an inherent feeling that I have weights on me when I make gameplay decisions that makes the game feel less fluid and more robotic than previous titles. Whenever I melee, weapon swap, turn, etc… The game just feels incredibly slow. And that’s the main word there. It FEELS that way.
Even playing in 10 sensitivity feels like you’re on Max 7 in an older title. It also doesn’t help that there’s no natural flow to strafing. The Spartan model can change strafe direction on a dime without any lag behind/having to catch up with their own feet as the master chief model used to. It creates a strange sensation for me personally whenever I play
More like “see you in an hour” because shortly after posting this gigantic rant about how disgusted you are with the game, you played 12 ranked matches
Halo Infinite is a 10 year live service game. More content and updates will come out over time. This unfortunately is why they were okay with having a somewhat lacking start.
thats true that you can look now on youtube what the legendary ending is on halo infinite.
there are always people that are not going to do it and wane see it for there own and not wane do it.
