I already want a new halo

This games is doomed. 6 years for this disaster.
Just be fair to youself and don t be forced to like this game.
I love halo but i m just done with half broken release games.

And what now? Wait for other 2 years til its enjoyable?
This game will not be the game (we) wanted!
Campaign consist of trees rocks and grass… and brutes. WoW… i was bored after 1 hour and never touched it again.
Mulitplayer 3 maps and 5 weapons… and a bouncy warthog. Thanks.
And graphics overall is just embarrassing for such a big title.

They really wanted to realase that game a year earlier?
And even more dumb is when guys think this game will be fixed in a few patches

As gordon would say… DISGUSTING.

343 pls move on and just do for once a good halo
See you 2026

It definitely didn’t have as many maps as when I’ve been grinding H5/ MCC big team and ranked for the last couple years.

But I’m still having tons of fun in my matches…

BTB needs a fix ASAP though!!!

I agree. Ive played the Halo CE Campaign over 200 times. Played 14,000 matches in Halo 2. Loved the Halo 3 maps.

This game feels nothing close in terms of sandbox and fun level.

The only redeeming features are the movement, Improved assault Rifle and good BR.

They ruined the Sniper Rifle, shotty etc, not enough equipment tyoee, bad warthog weight/handling, and the campaign was so boring and repetitive that I stopped playing after 5 hours.

They worked on this game for 4 years and only made 10 multiplayer maps. Even Cod Vanguard had 20 maps and a Battle Royale map made in half the Development time.

The Graphics look good in some places like the forerunner architecture but the grass and trees dont look so great.

And the Campaign upgrades fof your armor arent tbat great cause they dont have very many to begin with besides easy to make stuff like shield upgrades.

there have done it great job with the halo campaign this time.
so there not need to make any new halo game for a long time.

sure its at some point boring but if you start with a new save game and do things diffrend what you have done on the other save game’s then its becoming more fun.

for exemple with the boss fight’s try some diffrend things to beat then and make it more funny and you can make then it really funny trust me.

and not forget the funny things that can happing random it has happing a lot for me and its still fun.
so with the campaign is notting wrong sure there can add some things here and there to make it more funny.

Nah, this game can be saved later. That’s how they designed it since they can’t find it in themselves to deliver quality on launch.

If they drop Forge and Custom Games without any further delay (or preferably ahead of schedule), you can count on seeing me in-game.

Still a better Halo game than 4 and 5.

Well that’s an issue when 80 percent of your game is grass and trees. This game looks like crap. They’ve done this with all their titles. Make the gun in your hands look super detailed, but the environment, just flat surfaces and grainy grass. No thanks. Looks at the warthog in halo 4 and even ATTEMPT to tell me that Frankenstein looks graphically impressive.

Barely. Like atleast Halo 4 and 5 feel smooth compared to this robotic, stiff mess.

Infinite doesn’t feel stiff to me at all.

It’s got some bugs with the melee combat. But generally it feels really smooth. What platform are you playing on?

I just want to see what someone else would do with the franchise this point.

I don’t care if its a spin off or what have you I just want to see Machine Games or Id or someone get a chance with the IP while 343 can continue producing more Storefronts with some games attached to them.

They have solid gameplay/mechanics. It just needs a lot of help in the maps and limited game play it has. Also the terrible xp progression system. If they modeled Infinite off MCC they would have a great game… Social should have a match composer just like MCCs (except no other Halo titles obviously)… They need more maps and the games types to support the composer… Then the xp system should be like MCC where it’s medal based (I feel medals should be weighted in value depending on what you playing so for example objective medals would earn slightly more points for xp in objective games) and the challenges should be bonus xp… That way you can always progress depending on your performance.

Thing is if the plan is DLC chapters you need one hell of a strong opening to hook people in. Get them paying for campaign expansions.

But the best thing about Halo Infinite is Chief dealing with losing Cortana and finding an answer to that. They try to tell you that’s not an ending but it is. So that can’t really serve as a narrative hook going forward and that’s a good chunk of the games story.

Which leaves us with the bumbling Banished trying to activate a Halo ring and a mystery villain in the form of the Endless. They tease a reckoning with Atriox and the potential introduction of Offensive Bias.

Is that enough?

  • I don’t think the Banished are the draw 343 think they are. To most they are just another Covenant faction and they haven’t played Halo Wars 2 so Atriox doesn’t mean too much to them either.

  • Most people aren’t aware of the significance of Offensive Bias being in the game. Also you just threw one AI God out, why is another one a good idea?

  • Most of the buzz around the Endless has entirely revolved around them being Precursors and tying into the Flood. Now, not everyone is going to assume the Flood are in and most don’t know what the Precursors are. Imagine if they weren’t Precursors? To most it’s just coming across as another Didact out of nowhere Ancient Evil villain.

So I don’t think the narrative hooks are as strong as they could have been.

Also, the first chapter usually sets the tone of the story. This was a very small scale and small stakes story. Basically Chief is trying to stop the Banished repairing a Halo Array and they then save the Pilot. We’re hardly saving the Galaxy here. There’s no real threat or escalation in the narrative. Yes the Banished talk about getting the Halo Array and pointing it at Earth but they are never even close to being able to do that.

Now it might be the DLC is going to be off the rails bonkers and the stakes are going to go through the roof. But first impressions count. If people think, well that was boring; they aren’t really going to be that fussed by a campaign DLC. You’re not exactly shooting a hole in the surface of Mars.

They gave us a stripped down version of everything else.

Literally the game came out feeling like what the devs were play testing.

During the Beta I was like ok more is coming…

Than only after backlash they released more playlist which essentially broke BTB.

Like a Complete game should break by adding playlist.

I’m still astonished how a company that is in charge of a multibillion flagship Franchise can just break a game with a playlist update.

And.try cheap gimmicks like hey we are going to take the default colors from Halo 5 give you 10 of them. Than we will sell you the other 50 slowly… On top of that we will lock those colors to each armor core… So we can charge you multipke times for the same color.

Yea I’m pretty done with Halo Infinite, thank God I have Gamepass and didn’t dump 60 bucks into .this game.

All you guys spending money in the store just remember, those coatings you bought won’t transfer to the new cores … Gonna have to spend more money for a digital paint job…

this is more a part of completing the campaign on legendary difficulty then you know if your follow the last cutscene that offensive bais is in the game others then you not know it thats part of the legendary difficulty ending.
if you not compleet it on legendary then you not know it.

and nobody knows how its going to be in the dlc’s from the campaign so it can be that there are new enemy’s and the story line become’s maybe better after that.

Infinite has a foundation that’s very good. Agree it needs more variety though, and they need to break their silence and tell us what the plan is for updates

The lack of other biomes in the campaign is a big issue.
Weird how you rarely see complaints about how there are no new vehicles in this game, besides the Razorback which is just a modified Scout Warthog.
Also disappointing how the only new enemies are the Skimmers, which are uninteresting and might as well just be Grunts, but hovering. And how there is only 1 enemy faction, you never get situations where enemies fight each other and you can manipulate the conflict.
Presumably we’ll be getting more campaign content adding The Endless and possibly Flood too, but if that’s something like 2 years away and we’re stuck with this campaign as it is until then…

Damn might want to re-take basic math again.

To me it feels like everything is working on a crank. Like every move is deliberate and slow. I hate it. Even turning feels jacked.
