I know, I know. It keeps you from making your spartan look exactly the way you want by not letting you mix and match more. It also has a huge problem where the customization is spread thin because 40 pieces is a lot but if its spread between cores you wont see all those pieces, you know?
Anyway i like the concept though. Maybe it’s OCD, but I’d prefer everything stick to it’s place in time. I will concede that armor coatings should be cross core though. Colors don’t really make an impact on the themes and, let’s be honest, there’s not enough armor coatings to merit keeping them locked to cores. Visors on the other hand, they DO have a theme from what i can tell. Mark VII has LEDs while the Mark V has tented glass. So even those i don’t mind sticking to the core.
With all this being said, i don’t want there to be a new core every season. They need to give the cores they have some love first.
