I was playing Halo 4 before had Xbox Live. When I got Live, I accidentally set myself offline. Is there anyway I can fix that?
Are you signed into xbox live?

If you’re talking about what I think you’re talking about then press start while on the war games menu, click network and then xbox live, it’s probably set to “xbox 360” which wont allow you to play online.
No. What I am saying is that the game gave me a chance to either forfeit my rank to be able to rank up online, or keep my rank and not be able to advance in rank. I accidentally chose the latter. Now I am permanently stuck at rank one. It is like I have never done anything in the game at all.

You shouldn’t be permanently stuck at SR1 have you tried playing some matches online?
yes, but to no avail. When I go into my Spartan hub, it shows that everything is there, but in multiplayer it shows that I’m rank one and have no armor.

Alright, I think I’ve got it: you’re unfortunately screwed.
What the game gave you seems like a one time deal. You could have either stayed permanently at your old rank OR you could reset it all and progress normally through the system again. This gate is [presumably] to prevent people from doing things outside of MS’s supervision to bring themselves up to max rank and then benefit from further experience online. While that certainly isn’t to say that your own offline playtime was just an exercise in boosting, you’re still subject to the same restrictions.
So, there’s really no going back. You’ve erased your past progress and now you’ve got to get it all back again.

(except that when I go onto your online profile it says you’re SR31 with a full suite of non-standard armor…try resetting the game/xbox/system cache (system settings, memory, hard drive options) to see if this isn’t just an issue in profile retrieval from 343’s database.)
