what does hz do (the one in xbox>settings>display .whats the link between hz and framerate. In xbox settings is 50hz better or 24hz?
If hertz affects fps, and the xbox has a max of 50 (its not my tv thast 60hz) then how do we get 60fps
Xbox doesn’t have a max of 50. Halo is 60. Select 50, it means that it will go above 50
so selecting 50 means you are allowing it 50+ and selecting 24 allows 24+ but under 50?
Hertz? I believe it has something to do with the refresh rate of your TV. A higher refresh rate means the TV displays what you are viewing faster. Higher refresh lets you see the frames much smoother. (I am no expert of TV hardware, if I’m wrong please don’t grill me).
Edit: as for the Xbox setting I would take the advice posted above.

Yes. Selecting 24 means it’sgonna be 24 - 30 on any game, but selecting 50 will make it whatever the game’s fps is (ie 30, 60 etc)
