Okay, the Noble and GEN 1 MK VI sets are the best looking in the game. I think it would be pretty cool if 343 added armour that’s in a similar vein in a REQ content update.
This proposed update should have -
MK VI CQB GEN 1 - MK VI EVA GEN 1 - MK VI EOD GEN 1 - MK VI Scout GEN 1 - MK VI Recon GEN 1 - MK VI Rouge GEN 1 (Just the helmet, like Halo 3) - MK VI Security GEN 1 (No torso armour, just the helmet, shoulders, and antennae)No Hayabusa for two reasons-
It was part of a deal with Team Ninja, I don’t think that deal is valid anymore. - It is not a Mjolnir GEN 1 variant.Besides we already have Teishin and Raider, two Hayabusa-eqe armours.
And no Base MK VI GEN 1, MK V, nor ODST because we already have them.
To make these armours 343 should just -
Start with the MK VI GEN 1 body that we already have and use it as a base. - Replace the shoulders and torso with the appropriate variant (Keep the legs, forearms, and cod-peice the same) - Colour it like how the Noble set or the MK VI GEN 1 set is coloured, with the darker secondary colour, and the nice solid symmetry in the style of Halo 3. No geometric shapes. The pattern of the secondary colours should look similar to how the current MK IV GEN 1’s patterns are.Make sure that the armour’s colours and patterns are consistent, so we can mix-and-match them without it looking weird, which is a problem that I have encountered plenty.
Note that the parts that correspond to the variant should have a different mesh (model) than the GEN 2 variant, if it’s available. For example, the Rouge GEN 1 helmet should more or less look like how it looked in Halo 3, and not how the GEN 2 version looks (sharp, angular EVA-clone). Recon should look like how it looked in Halo 3 (no EOD-esqe chin things). And etcetera.
So yeah, including these armors would definitely placate the people who dislike the current armour design, without removing the current style of the GEN 2 armours that other people prefer.
One last thing, please add the ability to colour the bodysuit. That would be pretty awesome.

To be honest, that’s the main armour that I really want. I just don’t like the current Recon, and the way the skins are laid out, it doesn’t match MK IV GEN 1.
I would love it if 343 reproduced Mark V (b), Noble 6’s variant. Personally, with the UA upgrade and signs of actual wear and tear is one of the best helmets of the franchise.
Scout is how it was in Halo 3, which I see is what you want, Bring back the Mark V variant from Reach
btw, Halo 3 used Mark VI armors. Mark IV armor looks like THIS and most armor you listed did NOT have a Mark IV variant. Except CQB and EVA (which I completely agree)

Scout looks more like it did in Halo 4, honestly.
Which I actually enjoy, because the Scout helmet looks mediocre in 3 to me. The sleek, avian look to it in 4&5 looks pretty badass.

I would really like to see the armor piece of that CQB set.

Halo 3 yup! You’re right lol I forgot about the angry clam. Still would prefer the Reach variant WITH the Armor

All it really is, is just the body of the Mark IV with the CQB helmet, And to be honest the CQB I linked shouldn’t have existed because in Fall of Reach all the Spartan II’s wore the exact same armor. BUT if 343i brought back the CQB armor with a mark IV twist from the animated Fall of Reach, i’d prefer they put a knife on the chest like they did with Halo 3, because for whatever dumb reason, there are no knives on armor sets except Helljumper

The CQB armor in the photo is from an earlier iteration of the MJOLNIR armor. It has a different design that I like a bit more.
