Hi all,
This is probably an easy thing so I apologize for that, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to hyperlink in the forums. I’ve found several methods in past threads, the most recent being:
(url=INSERTURL] INSERTTEXT [/url) (replacing parentheses with square brackets)
This does not work for me. Other methods in older threads also do not work. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to use the source code button on the reply menu either.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You have to reach the rank of Marine (which kicks in at 100 posts) before you can make clickable links, mostly for spam prevention and to combat trolling. You can still paste the full link right now, people just have to copy/paste to view it. Looks like you shouldn’t be far away from unlocking, just make sure not to spam your way up

Bang on. Its to stop inappropriate links slipping though. As if you Hyperlink it you can hide it by changing the name.
100 posts aint that bad though. 
Enough time to be trusted in my opinion.
