Hype for season 2 is through the roof today

7.5 hours to go.

I’ve been looking forward to season 2, but I’m really excited to play now. Reminder servers will be down for about one hour before the update lands. So if you want to finish weekly challenge, get moving.

Hopefully they held some stuff back and will stealth drop some extra bits like a ranked FFA playlist. One can dream.

What’s everyone going to do first? I’m gonna play Last Spartan Standing then do a fly through of the two new maps in custom games, check out the weapon spawns the jumps, the feel of them. Hopefully we get them come up a lot today in MM. I can’t wait to play some KOTH on Catalyst. If I don’t get it today naturally I’ll be doing a custom game before I log off with Spartan bots 4v4 and FFA.

Big Team is my favourite playlist and the new map looks insane. Can’t wait to play. Hope it flows nice. Gonna be great having four maps now although I love the three maps we currently have so hope this fits in nicely. Really want to try out CTF on it.

I’m also excited. I’ve been pretty cynical of this game’s development and I still am, but this season looks to have something going for it.

Yeah still needs a lot of work but the base game is very fun. Can’t wait to try everything out tonight. I’ve missed KoTH and maps seem well balanced for it so should be really fun.

I’m keeping my expectations tempered (particularly when it comes to the Narrative Events), but I’m looking forward to new stuff regardless.

Think they will be good you know.

Never used to watch cutscenes but these days I love them especially customised ones that show weapons or outfits. Playing through DMC5 ATM and you can change outfits for cutscenes, I love it

I’m hyped for a new season. Not so hyped for another six months of no new content besides the two maps launching with it.

I really do hope that what they showed in the roadmap isn’t all we are getting cause it might literally kill the player base if it is.

A multiplayer narrative was always something I was looking forward to, especially with how they hinted at it in the Tutorial, but while I would like to see a story there I’m not holding out much hope that it’ll consist of anything more than that opening cutscene, regular multiplayer Challenges that are called Event Challenges to complete, maybe an ending cutscene upon completion…and that’s it.

But if there’s actually a bit more than that I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The season content doesn’t look bad and it’s about time KOTH is back. Why that mode ever left is beyond me!!! but until they fix major issues like desync, being connected to servers that you have no business being connected too and they put in a Ranked Team Slayer playlist, I’m afraid this game won’t be played too much by myself. The majority of people on my friends list for Halo (50ish) Have already dropped this game as well. I just don’t understand why there isn’t a ranked team slayer playlist for the life of me…

Any extra content for me on this game is getting me hyped. Love the gameplay, and think the new maps look cool. Cannot wait for king of the hill.

Now if I could just ditch work….
