Due to the complete lack of any info what so ever I have lost most the hype I once had for Halo 4. Im sure other people are starting to feel the sam way. Everday I scan google and forums looking for new info and get nothing so now im board of it. They should have not shown the teaser trailer so early and go the next 7 months with no info or news. Its a good way to kill any hype for the game.
Just wait, it’s a year till release, they’ll show something in time. Frankie did say in the latest podcast that they filmed something in November that will be released sometime in the near future. It’s likely a trailer or a VIDoc. My prediction for the reveal is either late January or early February.
The lack of info is making me more anxious for what is to come. So if anything, I’m more hyped.
And once info hits, expect a frenzy! 
Major marketing and hype build won’t start for a while. Hyping something too early can be a bad thing. Halo 4 is still many months away
It pains me to say this, but I have honestly lost all interest for Halo. I used to basically only play Halo, then everyone started playing the better, newer games such as Skyrim and Battlefield 3. It kills me say this, but Halo is dying.
I completely agree. This is getting stupid how there is nothing to be stoked about.
You guys are acting like the game is coming out in 2 months…We still have like 9 months before this game is released, & by the way I like how their not showing trailers yet (I may be the only one who knows) because it is pumping me up more.

I think the community is so ready for Halo 4 and want new info so bad is because everyone is sick and tired and so done with Reach. 343 tryed to make the game better and extend its life on xbox live but the fact is it cant be done. I myself am going back to Halo 3 until Halo 4. Reason being if I have to play another gray cookie cutter forge world map where I have no clue of the layout or wepon spawns I will break my Reach disk.
I agree, I barely go on these forums now. I find myself more excited for Mass Effect 3, when I haven’t even played ME1-2.

Trust me…When 343i drop there next teaser, Weather it be another short trailer or some sorta screenshots you’ll regain and that excitement and then some…

A lot of the hype also comes from the community and not the developers. I think there are some that have made it larger then 343 intended. If you don’t exactly agree I would look back when the VGAs were going.
Though honestly I think they announced the game way too early.
Having more hype isn’t going to make the game better.
I decided that 343i is going to blow us away when they release Halo 4 info. You know they are reading threads like this. They must be waiting for something. I’m thinking that it is going to be a HUGE reveal because they have been waiting this long. Think of it as Christmas. It takes a while to get here but totally worth the wait.
There’s still a year 'till launch. Now, I’m not one to like hype. I think things get over-hyped easily. That being said, I think it’d be great to have awesome support like this.

a weapon sounds so good that the people chooses it even if it isn’t the most efective against the enemy.
they have been filming something in the studio in november that will be released to the public soon
the game looks amazing
they will show much more of the game in 2012 and they have innovative ideas to the marketing campaign

That vid brings back memories of why I got into Halo. It would be so hard to bring that kind of Halo atmosphere back due to there being alot more competition now but, I hope that it can happen.

Guys, its a year away. A long time, its an even worse de-hype to reveal everything so early. 343i knows what they are doing. Also, it can take a while to make the perfect trailer or vidoc, which means that 343i would have had to take things from the even earlier and unfinished game to give us something that we may not have been so proud of. Be patient. If we knew everything about a game a year before release, whats the point of buying? Yes, 343i told us early… so? You gonna rip your hair out? Look forward to Halo 4 in a positive way, play through the Halo campaigns, memorize the story, read the books, get ready for the Earth to be destroyed in 2012… oh wait, thats not real.
