I watched the entire event live…I accessed it through the Halo Channel on my Xbox One which had all the twitch stuff streaming…even made a few tweets. Does this still unlock the pack?

I think you have to go to Halo 5 in the Xbox store and download it from the search results. That’s what I did.
Download the pack free from the Xbox store. Search halo 5 and look in DLC you will find it.
