I’m about three hours and 15 minutes into download time, and I am at 46%. Exciting.
That sounds pretty long. Mine was less than an hour. Switching the Xbox off and back on seemed to speed the download up a bit for some reason.

No, it either continues in the background or pauses until you switch it back on but it doesn’t stop/cancel it.

Okay. Because on the 360 you could turn off your console and the Xbox would only focus on the download and then shut down, significantly reducing the download time.
