I’m a halo fan so i thought i’d give HW2 a try so i downloaded it for PC. I did the tutorial and played like two matchmaking games. I found myself using the “all units” command because i had a hard time trying to separate them into separate groups. Kind of felt like the camera was zoomed in way too much.
I think ill stick to the FPS side of halo.
Lots of average FPS players have a hard time changing pace, RTS is the farthest you’ll get from an FPS. Unless you’ve played an RTS before you got hooked into FPS then I doubt you’ll find it interesting. I just find RTS games a little more fun. It’s all in opinions.
I love RTS games, I just wish we had GOT-DANG FREE BUILD!
Double clicking on one unit selects all types of that unit. Helped me out tremendously. I made this video it’s literally me just scrolling through the controls, but watch it during a bathroom visit and you’ll get them down. The groupings are a great help. Also buy a 5 button mouse (the kind with the two on the left side**,**this will do) and use the buttons on the left for all units and the other for whatever you key second most. Navigating through the mini map has also helped me a lot. Main tip I can give is accumulating unit. Sacrificing even 150 points for collecting energy and army building is better than having no units and your losing by 30.
