JESUS this game is bad!
Can I ask for a refund on the grounds of the game being so bad?
Let’s just go through some of the bugs:
- Random out of sync errors on a perfectly fine connection. No other game has this issue. Sometimes just as the game begins, a second in. Couldn’t you have simply not started the match instead of making me “lose” it? - Multiple times I’ve noticed that an enemy unit is at 0% life and yet don’t die. It’s incredible! The unit will have reached 0 hitpoints but will somehow continue to attack me for quite a few seconds. I’m not sure but I think that to counter this, when you see it, you have your units target someone else and THEN the enemy unit will finally die. No joke. - Also, randomly, when I start the game, my settings just reset! Yes, all of the settings reset to default. When do I notice this? When I’m playing the game, pressing a button does the wrong function. My god, how can you screw this up? - The delay! When there is an upgrade and it finishes, it magically takes 2 or 3 seconds for me to be able to start a new one! The upgrade ends, the button becomes grey and it doesn’t let me upgrade the following tech. The most basic of menus is super slow and unresponsive. And the same problem happens with units, too. And yes, I have enough resources. - I’ve also noticed sometimes that when I tell some units to move to a location, they won’t respond! They just sit there! Other times, the visual cues from the game don’t show up, the animation just doesn’t appear from the action I’ve selected. - Oh, and there’s also the achievements that don’t track! -_-The worst part? I played and LOVED Halo Wars 1, from Ensemble and it was amazing. No bugs, no flaws, just perfect for a console. My only gripe was when there were players with a bad connection and it ruined the online match.
How can HW2 be this horrible, so unpolished and so buggy and laggy. Just infuriating. Not only does it have the backing of Microsoft (and its money) but it also has the Halo name. This is just embarrassing. I know I’m being mean and negative but damn, this game is abysmal.
The only other game I’ve played that was buggier was Fallout 4.
