I was hoping to do some grinding to reach General this Memorial Day weekend but I can’t play multiplayer with anyone - it says Xbox Live cannot be reached. This is the last legacy title I haven’t reached 100% in yet…figures this happens now when I start to focus on it.

I am getting the same issue as is my buddy I play with on 360 Halo Wars. Halo wars is also not ment to be effected by the 360 halo shut down at the end of the year. The graph for the Halo games on 360 shows match making is not being shutdown on halo wars.That said I have been playing this via backcat on xbox one.
Getting the same issue. Able to connect for campaign missions but my multiplayer countdown always stops at 2 seconds and says it can’t contact Xbox live

My mates and I have also run into the same problems. We were just about too start grinding it too. We were promised we had until December.

Yes, I have the same problem. I only need 2 multiplayer achievements to get 100%
Yes, since 27th of may me and my friends have the same problem, counter stops at 2 when searching.
It says it can’t connect to xbox live.
We play on xbox 360, region is germany if that helps.
I also submitted a ticket in the support section, the more people do it, the more likely it gets investigated.

I wish we would get a 343 response on this issue (aside from the generic response myself and others have received from a support ticket).
In the same boat with everyone. All I can say is it’s really important we all submit support tickets for this

Wanted to grind the last couple Achievements. Really hope they fix this before the servers shut down.
I wanted to grind the multiplayer achievements and kept getting the Xbox Live not available message in game too…

Now that the servers are back up, will any and all achievements in Halo Wars for Xbox 360 be able to be unlocked after the Xbox 360 Services Sunsetting in December 2021?
According to this image guide found in the post, as of December 2021, despite the Sunsetting Halo Wars for Xbox 360 will continue to have its Campaign, Online Squads, and Matchmaking supported as indicated by the green checkmark.

From what I’ve heard, the image is correct: HW simply won’t be affected by the sunsetting. I’m still looking to 100% the game before then, just in case - and because the General grind is real. A real pain in the butt I want to get over with. My GT is Trar if you want to do it with me.

Would you be able to source anything you’ve heard? This is absolutely great news and I want it to be true, but I do not want to assume and be mistaken haha. From my review of the image I am inclined to agree with you, but it would be reassuring to see 343i also confirm it. I am surprised it wasn’t specifically highlighted in the Sunsetting announcement.
